Ipswich V Sheffield (pl) 05 Sept 2013 @ 19:30

Recommended Posts

As with many of these meetings where it appears it should be one sided you hope that the visitors turn up with some fire in yheir bellies.

If the Tigers can make some starts that will test the Witches and make for a much better meeting.

I expect 55 points from the Witches.

Well , Josh G did a good job for us last week so ok with that but not so sure about Kasper Lykke guesting for Ritchie , he's never really shown much form around Foxhall . I suppose it's a very limited pool to choose from though with the average Ritchie has .

Everything should be ok hopefully for a reasonably comfortable win Thursday but I do fear for Friday at Edinburgh , a battering springs to mind .

A shame that just as Hawkins was finally producing a bit of form, he gets injured.

Shouldn't matter too much Thursday with all due respect to Sheffield, but a big blow to lose him for Edinburgh on Friday.

Really? Not a blow at all losing him at Armadale on Friday... Hawkins goes round there as badly as Max Dilger did when he rode for the Monarchs... Very shrewd move that Hawkins' knee keeps him out of one of his poorer tracks and Lykke comes in (who rode very well in his previous visit for Rye House).

So, when Ritchie had to be helped off his bike on Saturday night after twisting his knee, it was all a ploy to avoid riding at Edinburgh? Don't flatter yourself!
