This is a must win for the Monarchs if we want 1st pick in the P-O's. With only very tough matches left now (Leicester, Newcastle, Workington & Ipswich Away and Ipswich at Home) this has to be targeted as a must win. However, normally when we're expected to win, we disappointingly fall short. I can see the Lions rallying around for this one...

Well done the lions on your win!

But performances from captain deek and wee Joe like that at such a critical stage of the season is not what is needed tabaka mainly down to machinery as it usually is! Points lost in my opinion but still more to be won so we will just need to put that one behind us and move on to the next bring on those pesky witches!!!

Oh forgot to say well done to cookie on beating his track record in heat 1 then 5 then 15 as well he is some man!!!

And if Edinburgh hadn't needed a tactical in ht 12 he probably would have set one in ht 11 :t:

Can we have some praise for the Lions. I thought it was a very professional performance. Just shows how it alters the teams dynamics when you have 2 scoring reserves.. Edberg did brilliant to fend of Cookie for 3 laps and Neilsen rode the 3/4 bends as well as anyone has all season. Another sterling job from Mr Karlsson, closely followed by Mr Bjerre. Gravo got it together in the end and Eklof was unlucky to shed a chain.

All in all a great performance against the standout team in the Premier League.

Last of all, I have to say well done to Craig Cook. What a star he is. To lower the track record by over a second, superb. Best Brittish ride around at the moment.

Well done the Lions

Even with the somewhat dubious Ht 11, nobody gave them a hope!!!!! I knew they would do it
