The White Knight
How well does everybody think that Lewis Rose will do? I honestly don't know - is the answer to your question. I DO though back the Promotion - they have pulled many surprise 'hits' out in the past. Who knows? They may have done it again with young Rose - I certainly wish him well. DIAMONDS
Well i hope he does go well at brough next season, good luck and all that jazz If he, Ludvig and Anton can go well i am very confident of the Playoff final
Islander15
Lewis Rose is an interesting signing. Didn't pull up any major trees in the NL last year but has done well in guest appearances in the PL (noticeably against us) and I'm certainly prepared to back the promotion on this one given the success we've had with Dakota North, Kyle Newman, Richie Worrall and of course Lewis Kerr in recent seasons. Important we don't compare him too much to Lewis Kerr and give him time to adapt to Brough. Schrammy will be fine in the number 6 role as long as the new Lewis scores well. You didn't follow the NL very closely then. He started at reserve & I'm sure if scored about 19 from 7 and I think he hit a maximum when he was alongside Lambert and he got about 15 from 7 to win the meeting at Kent. He carried on that form into the main body before he got injured (I think it was a dislocated shoulder). He's a talent and might not do a Kerr but I expect to see him push the 5.00 figure, maybe 4.50. He's definitely one of the best 3.00 riders & if EL sides have any chance he'll be one of the best B grade reserves and should get picked soon!

toontrader
I m trying to work out how many fixtures they are planning on running. Season ticket price for Adult is £330. Car park season ticket is £30 Car park is normally £1.00 so thirty plus meetings? or maybe the car park charge is going up The adult admission was £14 so £330 represents about 24 meetings and you normally get a couple extra so say 26. 14 league matches 3 league cup in the group 2 x semi final and final of league cup 3 ko cup if they reach final 2 x round of northern fours and final as Darren mention in Speedway Star 2 x play off group 1 x play off final 1 x Tyne Tees Trophy 1 x Tyne Tweed Trophy That gives anything from 21 to 29 plus of course any replay from ko cup matches and pre season challenges. If this is right, season ticket looks good value

If this is right, season ticket looks good value park on grace st?? It's pure greed charging for the car park when it's free for the dogs 4 times a week....And adult admission was £15?? And adult admission was £15?? Well that together with the price Newcastle are charging for season tickets in my opinion this year compared to other clubs we are a RIP OFF! at £330 and £245 is a joke and I will NOT be renewing mine for the first time since 2008! bobh
you can get to 23 matches cheaper than that if you book on line per match.... How many matches is a season ticket??Depends on how much gate prices go to next year, if they stay at 2013 levels then season tickets don't look good value to me. DiamondsRock
2014 Admission Prices (http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/clubinfo.asp) Stadium - Adult £16 - Concession £12 - Child £3 Online - Adult £15 - Concession £11 - Child £

And adult admission was £15?? I thought admission was £15 at the gate and £14 in advance. If you are buying a season ticket then you are buying in advance. Hence the £14 quoted
ruffdiamond
does'nt really look that reasonable,,, unless the team does well,,, then its a bonus,,, but is it worth risking getting a provvy out ??? can't work the car park one out,,, when did they run 30 fixtures, just to break even ??? is the car park pass for the smaller car park ?,,, maybe its more secure ?,,, easier to get into, but harder to get out of !!! but I like the car park,,, gives me more room to park outside,,, but in general,,, some-one has to help pay to maintain the air fence,,,
