Travertine
I don't believe it! Seems Charles Wright was a good move, but Lewis Rose? Would the previous incumbents have scored 9 between them? Any news on the two withdrawals? Wish them well, whatever their injuries.
oldtimer
How many times can they have a replay, any rules on the subject? For Rebels Wright looks useful, hope Kyle and Fricke ok, and won't mention Alex in case I upset Statman.

Mr Blobby
Another great night at the Dale between these two teams!!! First of all would like to wish Max and Kyle all the best as it looked nasty! Would of liked to of seen us pull it off tonight and we probably should of but due to an under performing Vissing which is understandable due to the pain he has been in after the heavy crashes he has had in the last few weeks and going from 4 - 2's to 3 - 3's as well cost us. But on the plus side we all get to see 2 fantastic legs of speedway all over again!!!!
Fromafar
Hope Kyle and Max are not to badly injured it look very nasty and certainly frightening ,just out of interest is there any one else thought that Kyle should have been excluded as it looked to me that he lost control and caused the crash but it was an all 4 back from the ref in the the end it did not effect the heat result as Rose finished last anyway but it could have.fair result on the night though both teams deserved something out the match. hules
Hats of to two excellent teams, there has been swings and roundabouts over both ties for either team with a few unexpected heroes winning a race. Over the 30 heats the Monarchs never hit the front and i hope when they do meet again both teams are at full strength.. Morris had good support from Doyle,Scrabbleman& Mr Wright for the Monarchs Cook was outstanding,Theo was excellent and captain Deek chipped a few,Liam Carr produced the move of the night and deserved his win,Smokin Joe came late to the party[thankfully]I will make no comment about Vissing.. Fingers crossed for the 2 guys spending some hospital time. Roll on the replay
eide67
Epic cup tie! Two great teams battling all the way. Horrific heat 8 crash from which Max and Kyle were very lucky to walk away - best wishes to both. Monarchs looked down and out after heat 11 but, as ever this season, would not give up and a fantastic Tabaka ride in heat 14 gave us our only 5-1 of the evening and made the tie all square with one heat to go. Heart-in-the-mouth stuff in heat 15, shown here - http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/emtv/player.asp?id=100071. You can't hear it on the video, but the Dale just about erupted when Theo got inside Doyle. Can't wait for the replay!
cyclone
That's two magnificent entertaining spectacles against Somerset at the Dale within the last fortnight. Once again it threw up an unentirely expected score from a Monarchs NL guest, namely Liam Carr, whom the Bandits obligingly assisted us with Throughout the first 13 heats,it looked like Somerset were going to go through on aggregate, until a sublime piece of track craft by Jozsef Tabaka in ht 14 to engineer a home 5 -1, followed by a pressure win in ht 15 by Cookie, resulted in a mouthwatering replay between two committed sides. Thankfully it appears there was no serious damage to messrs Fricke & Newman after their high speed crash through the safety fence. Was good to see a large contingent of Somerset fans and their Promotion were present and this made for a friendly competitive atmosphere.
