mickthemuppet
When I ask which club has had the most world champions I mean ride for them , so like Mark Loram and Ipswich. This means they had a world champion in their line up but might not have been world champion in that year

Grand Central
If the criterion is having a World Champion ride for them at ANY time. Wolverhampton, Newcastle and Hull have 4 each, Coventry 5 that sprang to mind Then I make it that Cradley have six Penhall, Gundersen, Pedersen, Hancock, Hamill, and Michanek. Belle Vue are on seven Craven, Fundin, Mauger, Collins, Ermolenko, Crump, Hamill But POOLE have eight that I can think of Hancock, Lee, Havelock, Rickardsson, Crump, Loram, Ermolenko, Holder . Ghostwalker
Smederna in Sweden have had three world champions during the years: Billy Hamill, Mark Loram and Nicki Pedersen all became world champions when riding for Smederna. Grand Central
Coventry: (5) Ole Olsen, Hans Nielsen, Billy Hamill, Greg Hancock and Ronnie Moore. ATB Dave I added Coventry up to five but had forgotten about the couple of matches that Ronnie Moore rode. But you have missed JACK YOUNG. That makes it six for the Bees. We did this on Facebook a few weeks ago..................Poole did come out top but add in all the Long track, world under 21 (even in its European guise) and Ice racers and they come out head and shoulders above everyone else................ Loram and Holder and Rickardsson also won it whilst riding for Poole............... RP

Grand Central
But not when racing for them. We know! That was the whole point of the thread. And was reiterated in my post.
Beowulf
For Wolves, whilst riding for them, the total is 2, Ole Olsen and Sam Ermolenko. The numer of titles is 3 with Olsen winning in 1971 and 1975. That last title meant little to the Wolves fans as we knew he was off to pasture's new in 1976. Anyway after this year I'm hoping the total will go up to
