Guest
Serious question here and only one man can really answer it.....will there be racing at Rye next year? I noticed in last nights NLRC programme that the last meeting at Rye is the KOC final on 6th October. No Ace of Herts,,,,,,? No challenges as meeting fillers? Silver Ski also seem to be mentioned a lot around Sittingbourne/Kent as well.......food for thought Edit...Mods can you move to PL section please? A change of leagues for the two clubs in 2014....pure guesswork - at the moment! I reckon you've got it just about spot on No chance of Rye House ever going Elite League. Sittingbourne in the PL is a possibility, but not next year. I reckon he meant Rye dropping to the NL and Sittingbourne moving up! Financial suicide Will we be running in 2014 and if so in what league I wonder. I had nt read too much into closing the season straight after the cup final on 6/10 - three weeks earlier than usual -but Peter Sampsons interview straight after the NLRC sounded a little sinister. Thoughts? What an intriguing list of comments to ponder as the season draws to its conclusion. Would a Rye House-Kent Kings (Sittingbourne) switch of leagues really be a financial disaster if it happened? keithmed
What a lot of people don't seem to know or have forgotten is that Sittingbourne were only granted an initial 3 year lease so going premier league at the moment would seem to me a non-starter. Plus the very unusual early start time on a weekday which for any fan travelling more than a few miles makes it virtually impossible to get to on-time after finishing work!! Rockets
I can't remember the actual words but my interpretation was something along the lines of Len silver is the best promoter there is and you need to get behind him because you don't know what you ve had until you've lost it. Nothing sinister in that comment - whether you agree with it or not. Looks like a bit of "buttering up" by Pete Sampson for Rye House boss Len Silver - no more than that to me. iand
What average would Luke come back in on next year? What average would Steve Boxall be if he was to return to the Premier next year?
Rocketbee
Boxmeister's 2011 pl ave was 5.69 & 747 2012 ave was 5.57. Edited October 7, 2013 by Rocketbee

If I had to choose, it would be Steve, much better on the away tracks, only problem with Steve is lack of decent machinery.
startline sid
Probably both airfence related. There's a lot of work to be done to move the fence out to accomodate the airfence and it's probably eaten up the firework budget and more. spot on no other sinister speculation needed - even heard an interesting idea on who our number one may be next year (could be an ex rye favourite reurning)

iand
spot on no other sinister speculation needed - even heard an interesting idea on who our number one may be next year (could be an ex rye favourite reurning) Names that spring to mind are Danny King, Linus Sundstrom and Eddie Kennett. Can only see Kennett doing it out of them 3. Wouldn't mind which one as our number 1. Or could it be Tai?
Rockets
And Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz are our new starting marshalls. Oh just to get back to a winning team in the race for honours and an injury free season will be a plus. I know everyone knocks the presentation but rather than just moaning about it why don't we spend some time working out how to change it for the good without incurring significant costs and ways of promoting the club to boost crowds. Shadders
Chris Neath ? Retired Names that spring to mind are Danny King.... On an 11.60 average? iand
Chris Neath ? Chris returning would explain why we didn't have a benefit meeting for him at the end of the season.
