Shadders
Not the Rockets finest hour and a half, but at least not the worst performance of the night... I'm not taking any comfort from another sides capitulation. I'm more concerned at how poor we were tonight. Not having been there it would be wrong of me to pick on individual performances. I'm just going by the home sides updates. I have no idea who this reserve guest was, but I do know he wasn't first choice, not by a long way. Looks like he was very much a last minute call up after various riders were unavailable due to work commitments mainly. Benji Compton was one of them. I presume now that lessons have been learned and that this Jason Garrity nonsense is put to bed until he's fit to ride, when it's clearly obvious to anyone but a complete moron that he's not. Let's hope it was just a bad day at the office and the team can rally against weaker opposition tomorrow. Alan_Jones
I presume now that lessons have been learned and that this Jason Garrity nonsense is put to bed until he's fit to ride, when it's clearly obvious to anyone but a complete moron that he's not. Sadly no, judging by this quote from the TM in the post-match press release, “Jason had a practice at Sheffield last night and felt OK afterwards, only to wake up this morning with more pain than before. I would have to say that he is highly questionable for either match.” Let's hope it was just a bad day at the office and the team can rally against weaker opposition tomorrow. Can't disagree with that.

Now I'm no doctor, but that's pretty desperate. I can't believe there wasn't a plan B put in place before Jasons spin at Sheffield, not that it would've made any difference to the final outcome tonight Edited August 23, 2013 by Shadders
Mr Blobby
Well that was easy for the home boys tonight against a very poor rye house side. Score line could of been a lot worse if it wasn't for the 0 - 8 (thats right a 0 -8) Lykke started off like a house on fire and faded, would just like to say Mr Lykke have a word with yourself your attempted pass on Vissing was never going to happen without someone coming off. It was just reckless and not needed. The rest of the Rockets shouldn't have bothered turning up as they were useless except Mellgren who was at least on the pace. Onto the home boys Cook majestic as ever making it look easy, Max was the quickest he has been all season at the dale, unfortunate to lose out on his paid max in heat 15. Theo great max for his 4 programmed rides and well backed up by wee Joe and captain Deek. Would to like to with young Josh all the best hope he isn't to sore as he was in he wars tonight and to Claus as well as it looked another nasty one for the big man. Hopefully they will be okay for Tuesday. Edited August 23, 2013 by Mr Blobby

Ryan does 2nd half's at armadale most weeks so I would guess rye couldn't get anyone else. Was steady enough but well off the pace. Excellent lay down in ht6 from a lad of his experience. Glad he got a point but it was 1 more than anyone expected. Strange meeting with the one sided scoreline making it a bit flat despite some good racing. A lot of passes and heat 4 was a belter before the crash. A good performance from the monarchs and hope Josh and Claus are OK. Rumour was Josh broke his wrist, hope that is wrong
Halifaxtiger
was at edin v rye h on friday it was a dissopointment as a match also im going to berwick v rye hou on saturday i hope its a lot better because i like a really tight match not matter who wins I was defending the Armadale circuit on Monday from some criticism because I have rarely seen a bad match at Edinburgh and while the second half of the meeting was pretty one sided there was some decent racing in the first part - enough for me to keep defending the track, anyway.
