Taylorj
Whats wrong with the comets fans? You have an excellent team and I will be happy if the diamonds get a point from this. Both sides should make the playoffs which will be fine by me if we meet the comets again after this weekend. I hope the diamonds entertain at Derwent Park and the comets do likewise at Brough Park We do have a great team think its just with surprise defeats at home Ippo/Plymouth and Scunny taking a point we are a bit apprehensive facing a really strong Newcastle team who along with Edinburgh and Somerset I think will be fighting for the title. Ash just coming back from hand injury , no Tero and Chris really struggling to score points I feel we might be just too weak in the tail to cover Tero's rides . Hope we can keep at least 2 of the point though, Having missed a few weeks speedway being on holiday still looking forward to screaming, cheering the lads on as usual , come on boys #COMETSPRIDE
scaramanga
hopefully Mr Lawson can turn in a performance similar to that when he guests for other teams or rides in the elite league if the team rides as a team and nobody starts sulking then comets can win but if not looks like another defeat  Richard Lawson 13 Pt's Thursday ridding for Sheffield and 10+1 ridding for lakeside Friday how many will he get riding at home for his parent club Saturday Edited August 23, 2013 by scarra

bri1966
Had this down as an away win ,but Robbo injury has changed all that Speedy recovery Robbo. Will George try and pull an other rabbit out his hat and sign another rider.

IMO,,, might be best to see how good the first rabbit is,,, had some bad luck upto now, but think George has brought in changes that were needed, but can you just keep on bringing new faces in ?Best ov luck, n a speedy to Robbo Edited August 24, 2013 by ruffdiamond
jenga
robsons injury put workington a touch ahead in the winners stakes. with robson outit makes them awee bit weaker, but not much. gonna be tight, think the jawdees may come away with something though.
dantodan
Best wishes to Robbo a difficult man to replace as he can come out and win crucial heats. Anton Rosen needs to be good to rescue our chances in the play offs. I also favour signing someone to cover for Stuart but WHO! Â Can a comets fan give a couple of weather updates later today (Saturday) as it is very wet over on the eastern side and I am wavering over whether to travel over to Workington Edited August 24, 2013 by dantodan
ellioth4
Updates for tonight's meeting. Â I am not sure on Newcastle's confirmed riding order as it may have changed since Stuart Robson got injured last night at Peterborough with a broken tibla and fibula. Rider Replacement will be covering his rides this evening. Information on the team news. Edited August 24, 2013 by Elliot Hunt
ruffdiamond
would hazard a guess at; 2 R/R Robson 3 Rosen 4 Tully 5 Lindgren

Halifaxtiger
I hope it stays dry I hate driving to away matches with one eye on the clouds  I don't think that will be a problem at all. I can see the track from where I am and it is very warm and sunny and every weather prediction says it is going to stay that way.
DIAMONDS
Sad to hear about Robbo, best wishes. Â Â But as a replacement do you think we could get ledbedevs on an assesed 7.
topaz325
Newcastle still strong without Robson, will be able to cover his rides with all other team members.Bad luck for Robbo get well soon. Worky will need all the main body team riders to score double points and hope the reserves can chip in with two or three points as well. Â Â But as a replacement do you think we could get ledbedevs on an assesed 7.00 Â Lol is that a serious suggestion? When he wouldnt even commit himself fully to Kings Lynn I very much doubt he would Newcastle. Plus, hes far to good for the PL and rides in Poland every sunday.
