Arson fire
I must admit I think he is a bit of an enigma but is on a handy average (mainly due to Inconsistancy ) Hopefully he will do a job for us. Whose RA my mind is blank on that one Aspegren
neil
Matej should do a job in the middle order, poor end to 2013 for him but like others have said has done well at ours in the past, definately take him before aspegren. Â 3 down 4 to go, would imagine wethers and carr are nailed on for 2 of them, leaves just over 12, do we go for a big hitting number 1 and a 3.00, or two 6 pointers? emilali
Aspegren didnt take Berwick seriously, his concentration was quite clearly about his Swedish scores so good riddance to him.
Fromafar
Aspegren AspegrenGood rider but don't think he liked Shielfield and really just took the p#ss last year?Good away from home though.I though he was good signing when he came back last year but was very disappointed with performances and excuses regarding bikes.Just did not look interested at times IMO.

havenagotahope
What would Hansen/Dyer,or Hansen/Alden leave for reserve Unfortunately neither combination would fit unless Hansen's avg is re-assessed but the best we can hope for is 8.7. Milik comes in on a straight 7 giving a lot more options and would work well with Kus. Edited December 12, 2013 by havenagotahope

BigRackBandit
I highly doubt we'd meet Vaclav Miliks financial expectation...
Goldmember06
Kus very poor signing for me tbh, no one remember the night he guested and he let the bandits down big time? Far too inconsistent, is more hot n cold than a Katy Perry song and really isn't the kind of signing that makes me feel excited about the new season. Don't think he's anyway near as good as any of the other Czechs we've had at Berwick. The signing of Kevin Doolan is to my mind only slightly better, he ain't going to drop his average much but he ain't going to put 1-1.5 pts on it. Â What's happened to all the exciting riders we've been used to getting for the last 4/5 years? Â Disappointed.
Bandit59
With 3 riders signed [2 on loan] and maybe Liam if we go down the assets road that could bring in Seb and Alex and maybe a newbee [like Lewis Kerr] ?

mythman666
Will Seb want to commit to a season over here? He went on record as saying not coming back to Berwick last season was a mistake...when his head is in the game he is one of the best riders in the league.

It was well documented that the tragic crash in Argentina last Winter hit him hard and then it seems he came back too soon after a broken shoulder in a Test Match. Has been riding well seemingly in Oz and looks like a mid order man at Berwick with no pressure as heat leader. Berwick have obviously gone down road of solid top 6 if they get Vissing. Should be interesting to see who they get at Reserve.

On another note I see most are talking about young Carr at reserve but really? The lad is nowhere near ready for the rigours of PL racing

I'm sorry but I totally disagree on the Carr front, once he gets up to heat leader level on a consistent basis at NL level then take a chance on him but just now he ain't ready regardless of 2/3 good races at Armadale this year. Racing at PL level could do more harm than good for the lad at this stage of his career.
bigeddiechek
I have to admit to being unsure about Kus. There is certainly ability there, but I thought he would have developed a lot more than he has. Â One thing I must say is that I'd have him ahead of Aspegren in the team. Â We might not sign a team of seat of the pants riders, but then we might sign a team that is successful. Â I'm still very much looking forward to the start of the season.A switched-onb Seb Alden would be close to one of the top riders in the PL.In the right frame of mind he could easily stick a point on his average.
