Arson fire
Who knows, would of thought he'd be rolling in it all the points hes scored this season. sh!tting in his own nest is possibly the reason.
sidewinder1
Not sure? Redcar fan seemed to think had heard something. Probably cost of speedway for riders etc?? I believe Mickey, has been very homesick, in the last half of the season. Rode a lot of meetings, possibly feeling speedwayed out.
Robinh88
Kenneth Hansen would be a intresting one, a no1? Haven't really seen his scores in recent times but he's wanted to be racing at PL level for a while been suprised no one signed him Mickey Dyer be a good signing for sure Aaron Summers? 60 miles up the road and you have the right track for him Edited to add Hansen's lack of meetings is clearly evident Looks the part, colours on the bike more or less match those of the mighty Bandits Be intresting to see what happens..... Lord Antebellum
It was odd on Sat when Olly Allen made a speech at end of meeting, we gave him rider of the night, always rides well at Berwick What did Mr Allen say? He would certainly be a 100% better bet - on every front - than the moody Dane, if you were choosing a No 1.
Robinh88
If the PL is dummed down again both guys should be top guys at this level. Olly Allen's only drawback would be he has no luck with injuries he gets bad injuries more or less every season.

I think is a bonus that we can talk about 2014 already unlike end of last season.Allen is good round Shielfield but is not going to get any better at his age and is injury prone .Can only hope that the team we have on paper ride to potential unlike a few of this years Team. Let the speculation begin!!!!!!!!!!!
rgcumming
Biggest mistake we made as has been well documented, is not going for strength at reserve, and in particular this year. Without question Micky Dyer would have been the difference in our season. Once he fought out of reserve, David Bellego would drop down. That is strength in depth. The team needs to be built around this principle next year if we are to have any ambition to climb from the lower end of the league into a side confidently challenging for the playoffs. Would Dyer be a competitive number 1. Without question he is quick around Shielfield but does he have the ability to go and score 10-12 points per meeting away from home? The jury's out for me on that one. From this years side, Bellego and Wethers are the only two I would retain. Add in the likes of Lewis Kerr, Micky Dyer, Morten Risager for a solid top 5 and you have plenty left for a strong reserve partnership. Key to any sides chances of success. rgcumming
Matty would be my choice for captain. Invaluable experience from numerous trophy winning sides. Edited September 25, 2013 by portybandit
Normski
think i would keep kozza as long as he has no long track commitments, agree with keeping bellego think he can improve even more in 2014 need stronger reserves if we are going to be in the mix at end of season.
Robinh88
Morten Risager? hmmmm Mickey Dyer may step it up again next year, I don't see him as a Number One yet top middle order man maybe at No3 Might be being a little harsh on Bellego but for the talent he has I thought we would have seen more from him especially with the lack of a No1. Definitely keep Kozza if possible but with not so much pressure Hansen, Skidmore, Bellego, Bager, Smith, Wilkinson Albin

Fromafar
1 2 Bellego 3 Dyer 4 5 Kozza 6 7 Carr. Would take Alden back if he shows better commitment to Britain, just using Uk to supplement his income when he feels like it .He can make excuses but to keep coming back when it suits him is not right IMO.He is a class act at PL Level and he is an asset ,we should sell him if we are not going to use him. Definitely keep Kozza if possible but with not so much pressure Hansen, Skidmore, Bellego, Bager, Smith, Wilkinson Albin If we constructed our side correctly, we could accommodate Bager at reserve, point limit dependant obviously, My suggestion for next year based on current averages is as follows: 1. Micky Dyer 7.58 2. Lewis Kerr 5.45 3. David Bellego 6.28 4. Matty Wethers 6.67 5. Morten Risager 6.95 6. Henning Bager 5.21 7. Charles Wright 4.05 Total - 42.19 That for me gives us solidity all through the team, two reserves capable of big scores home and away being key. Robinh88
I disagree strongly Emilali Wilko/Bager should do the buisness from reserve, both should score 5 points per home match, skidmore solid middle order. Albin has seen the tracks now, we loaned him out, cheap as chips he could kick on, he could be rats if so make a change or instead give him a whole season. Bellego will kick on in 2014 if he doesn't I would debate when he will.. Kozza can hit 8 points in 2014, some of his away scores where impressive, that said he needs more consistancy. Kozza would have had 12/13 points on Saturday night no problem. Hansen is at a great age to lead the Bandits to glory since i Adrian did taking us to Runners up in 2008 Young Shield Final. Had Adrian been fit we'd have won the the trophy...

Robinh88
Dyer aint a No1 and Risager is a week No5 we wont be getting Lewis Kerr or Wright Poor team, wouldn't lace my teams steel shoes with Kenneth Hansen taking Morten Risager from 15 meters back.... Or Hansen, Bellego, Tresarieu, Skidmore, Smith, Bager and Joe Jacobs

rgcumming
What average would Kenneth Hansen come in on? Albin is a Sheffield asset so would probably be part of their plans should they run. Wilkinson is being kept afloat by a good sponsor down at Redcar so would be unlikely to move in my opinion.
