mythman666
Aussie Scott Smith was an exciting rider....always did wonder what happened to him. He had one of the strangest riding styles I had ever seen!
spittalbandit
doolan bellego wethers ?? ?? aarnio carr by my sums would leave 12.98 for two riders. pepe on 6.95 ( dont think there is as many longtrack meetings 2014) plus a six point rider i would be happy with team along those lines.ok its bot everyones ideal team but solid in depth and tero to help out liam

bigeddiechek
Â Surely that was more Berwick's fault for signing him? Â He did miss a few too many meetings, but everyone was aware of that at the time. Â If he wasn't going to miss many meetings, then I would have Pepe back. arthur cross
Rusty was over in '99 (signed for Glasgow that season) while Scott Smith come over in 2000 and sign for Newport in 2001. No doubt in my mind if Scott had taken it serious he'd have been a bloody good PL rider. In 2002 he got his average up to 9 but he spent all the money he'd earned on fags and beer rather than bikes. A real character though, remember him hobbling around Swindon on crutches fag in mouth and two bottles of beer but able to celebrate every time Wato and Smart hit the front. No-one except Scott Smith could go to watch a Scottish Open at Armadale to cheer on a couple of fellow Aussies but then need his van re-started with jump leads for the homeward journey because he'd flattened the battery with his beer fridge !!! Â I'll never forgive him for openly admitting (in the bar at Exeter) that he could have been trying "a little harder," when chatting to 2 fans and the speedway reporter for the local (Newcastle) paper (also a fan). He is as good as anyone we have signed so far.

StevePark
Any averages fans out there, would Doolan Bellego Kus Weathers Vissing Aarnio and Carr fit? Â Doolan 7.51. Bellego 6.36. Kus 6.19. Wethers 6.79. Vissing 6.89. Aarnio 5.86. Carr 3.00. = 42.
TheScotsman
That's rough. Â Would have been a good solid team if Bellego kicks on and Kus gets his form back.
emilali
Just over the limit. 42.6 Disappointing as I think that would have been a pretty solid 7 with good scoring power basically throughout and no pressure on Carr.
