screm
Taking Hansen or Fisher on 9+ averages would give us what every body has been moaning about for the last few years, weak reserves, as we presume Liam Carr will be in the team personally i would hope we would go down the same route as Scunny and Newcastle with not a top number one but strenth in depth and a good partnet for Liam. 9.5 or 9.7 number one means two 3 point reserves, you can't have it both ways Ive always liked our team to have an out and out No1,but in truth I dont see that working next year if Carr is one of the reserves.Like you say if Carrs in then his reserve partner must be one of the highest averaging reserves around. screm
I personally wouldnt sign him on that I'd much rather take fisher. Going by Hansens twitter though I think we'll be seeing him. Kenneth Kruse Hansen @KennethKHansen 8 Dec @Geordiepete1 If I had I would not tell it on here Buddy #bandits2014 Theres certainly a hint there somewhere. Catch Me If You Can
Probably waiting on you to give them the benifit of your experience running a business and or a speedway team as you obviously have a far superior knowledge than themHe wouldnt know where to start, a bit of a know all by sounds on here. If you go down the route of an out & out No.1, you then need the strongest reserves in PL. I would say that the strongest reserves have already been snapped up. Newcastle have proved that 5 riders around a 7 and 2 reserves is the way to goYou spot on Tourettes, I feel that is way for Berwick with say a 5 point plus rider and 3 pointer (Carr?) at Reserve Edited December 10, 2013 by Catch Me If You Can
Goodiepatchie
Our season was over in May so that gave Mr A and his band of specialist hitmen plenty of time to view other avenues? So to that end just what have they been doing?working in asda maybe or perhaps that's someone elseProbably waiting on you to give them the benifit of your experience running a business and or a speedway team as you obviously have a far superior knowledge than themwere not worthy of his superior knowledge I'm afraid we are mere scum compared to him Edited December 10, 2013 by Goodiepatchie

luluthetiger
Is he the French boy who rode in the second half when Tigers were at Berwick last summer? He looked very raw, and totally wiped out a young Aussie in one race. Also saw him in Ricky Ashworth meeting. Not worth a 5.00, and certainly not worth a club with a £50K overdraft paying him they money we heard he was asking for!

bigeddiechek
Doolan a great rider to have back at Shielfield. Pleased with the two signings so far, I agree with a few posters on here; strength in depth could work well for us.
emilali
Decent enough signing, looks like they will go strength in depth which will be good considering Carr will probably struggle to begin with at reserve. Cant really see Doolan improving but should be solid particularly at home and can ride most away tracks, also a good team man.
DSC67
Very happy with that singing , always been a big fan of Kevin , was disappointed when he left he's a good team man that should be able to score at most tracks and a nice guy too will be popular with the fans

screm
Doolan will make a decent signing, though hardly likely to increase his starting average, but will be good back-up to our No1. Cant help thinking missing out on Berge and/or Starke will be more significant for Berwick.
Boobs
Cant help thinking missing out on Berge and/or Starke will be more significant for Berwick. By all accounts, Berge went to the highest bidder of five clubs, and Glasgow seem to be overpaying him(with money they don't have?) while Paul Starke was set up for Berwick until getting his EL gig and choosing to withdraw from the deal on travelling grounds. Neither loss should be that significant, and in the case of Berge, the club has wisely chosen not to get involved in trying to gazump others just to get hold of a potential five-point asset who may or may not prove better in the long run than three-point Liam Carr. Who comfortably outpaced the young Frog when they last met, I believe.
Paulco
People seem well versed on how much money Glasgow has or hasn't got
