bigeddiechek
The lack of announcements would lead us to conclude that no riders have been signed. The intelligent conclusion would be that there have been no announcements. Oliver Allen 8.09 David Bellego 6.36 Matty Wethers 6.79 Andrew Tulley 7.19 Kevin Doolan 7.51 Paul Starke 3.52 Liam Carr 3.00 total 42.46 very solid top 5 , i dont see the reserves as a gamble either as i reckon both will get or maybe slightly improve on their starting figures. And no commuting foreigners whose main priorities wouldn't be at Berwick. What total and utter tripe. Edit: actually, a very good shout, on reflection. mikebaker
Matej Kus on 6.19. May fancy another stint at Shielfield. Did a couple of meetings back in 2007 before that bizzare accident at Ashfield. Thankfully the enigma will not be back at the STMP in 2014. Yippee! Kus may have offered his services but was turned down, with the 2014 team already in place, pure speculation of course. Decent rider and with the right mamangement he`d make a snip on his 6+ average, somebody could make a very shrewd signing.
bigeddiechek
I like Neil's suggested team. Very well thought-out, no hidden agenda, and a good balance. It should please Screm et al., with the overseas meeting element. Some of the Czech riders sound interesting, but...

bigeddiechek
decent enough side provided we still have bellego who is capable of raising his average There isn't really a rider that you would expect to drop their average, and - like you say - Bellego is capable of raising his, probably by quite a bit. Robinh88
Tomasz Piszcz would have been a very good signing in 2009 after maxing out at Glasgow and had 13 for us against Redcar. Flopped at Poole and Belle Vue Looking at Piszcz's scores last 2 seasons, 4 meetings in 2013 say it all a few years too late I'd say

Bandits4eva
Kenneth Hansen. Seb Alden Pontus Aspgren David Bellego A Tully Liam Carr Tero Arnio I could certainly live with that coming to tapes.. Good top 5 and having Tero at reserve to take pressure off Liam.. Catch Me If You Can
Not a bad team if the limit was 46.00Looking at that team averages yes it looks around 46! Looking at way others are setting up inc Newcastle and Scunthorpe as two and shortage of 9 point riders Berwick might be better going with top 5 of similar averages and maybe get chance to bring in a rider of around 5 or so at Reserve if they using young Carr? Bringing in a top number 1 is good, eg Hansen, Fisher, Stead etc but it reduces options further down. Tomasz Piszcz would have been a very good signing in 2009 after maxing out at Glasgow and had 13 for us against Redcar. Flopped at Poole and Belle Vue Looking at Piszcz's scores last 2 seasons, 4 meetings in 2013 say it all a few years too late I'd say I think he would need to take out a UK licence as well RH but he was useful in past but maybe no longer a force? bigeddiechek
I still think Neil's team with minimal imports is the less seductive on paper, but probably one that would perform the best.

You mention a few Czech riders in previous posts. Is the V Milik the lad who rode in World Under 21 Final in 2013? He looked quick. Does he ride anywhere else but Czech Rep.?
