Is this the same Davidsson who cannot raise a gallop in Poland ??

Usual sliding quality scale of the leagues applies his average in Sweden is 7.25 and in Poland 4.70. He'd probably hit double figures in the UK

I for one think Sweden is the stronger of the two-It will be interesting to compare final averages for riders in both leagues-however senior riders can end up at reserve in Sweden unlike Poland where they can`t.

May be a subject for another time, but can see why it costs Sky so much to cover Elite in UK. These camera positions in Sweden are so much more basic, and don't give the overall coverage that Sky do. (Don't get me wrong, it's great for me, but Sky demand so much more quality coverage that it may be outside their budget to be worth broadcasting speedway). Maybe some other broadcaster could cover Elite League for a lot less? But who? Could be it ends up on our Irish friends as well as (or instead of?) the Swedish coverage.

If it`s not SKY it could be BT sport or nothing-certainly wouldn`t be Premier sports.Speedway TV streaming could be a possibility.

Sweden stronger really! If that's the case it's surprising news to me. However, i don't get to follow Polish speedway and haven't looked at the stats in detail. I am aware though that any time in the past that i've had a quick look at averages for riders in the three leagues that there was a clear cut order of Poland, Sweden and UK. It might be a couple of seasons since i last looked so maybe the Polish league has weakened and the Swedish one strengthened.

Maybe something to do in the off season have a more detailed look at how riders perform in multiple leagues? I also remember that the sliding/increasing scale depending which way round you do it applied to top riders as well as middle order ones.

I think what you see on Premier sports are not what we see in the Swedish feed.

The Swedish feed is more thorough with more cameras, pit interviews, pit cameras and etc.,

2 commentators, 2 people in the track side studio and one interviewer in the pits.

Unless someone like Flagrag says otherwise, i wouldn't have thought that the number of cameras they bring to the meeting is a major factor as to whether they can afford to cover speedway. It only means the wages of a couple of cameramen which must pale into insignificance compared to the transport and wider support staff? If Sky already have hundreds of cameras they might as well make full use of them instead of leaving them behind.

Same as the new Speedway tv streaming of the Polish play-offs-N sport coverage without the interviews and presenters output.

Obviously we can't have most of that as us English tend to only speak our own language.

I think 'lastword' was centering in on the actual racing cameras though. Are you getting relatively basic camera shots when the race is in progress? I'd imagine the feed that goes to international broadcasters of the actual race is the same that you see? Or are you getting all sorts of snazzy angles and helmet cams etc!

Spot on as always. I think the Swedish coverage is the best at giving you the "You are there" feeling. Now if they can just broadcast in "Smellovision"

Huge Heat 15!

A 5-1 or 4-2 from Vetlanda would make them favorites for me.

Does anyone know if Mikkel Bech Jensen is riding at Piraterna at reserve?

I noticed he didn't ride in the home leg against Dackarna but in the away leg he rode? Why is this...

If there are no changes from the original official announcements it's as per racecard and he's riding at number two.
