PHILIPRISING
LOL , Monster try to cover all bases with rider sponsorship and Goolob hands gate 1 to the red bull man!!!! Not a good move by Mr G. Did think Hampel got a roller in the final though, and Woffy was pulled back!!! BUT both semis were won off two including Gollob's so you can see his logic. BWitcher
Why the wolf howling noises every time Tai wins? I would expect some chanting at a speedway team match by the commentators but there are 16 riders there at an individual world championship. Media manipulation at it's finest. You must have been most annoyed when the commentators got so excited at British gold medals in the Olympics.
bigcatdiary
GP was poor and their wasn't much overtaking all night as the track was a gaters paradise. Very impressed with Woffinden again who seems to be riding with so much maturity.

woodenspoon
Well done Tai Woffinden, keep it going and you will be the next British World Champion. I have to admit that I was one of the sceptics, about Tai getting into the GPs, thinking Oh No not another Brit who is more down, than up in their performances, but I have been proved wrong, Tai has shown all the other Brit riders that with a more professional approach, and dedication to their fitness, what can be acheived. Lets hope his attitude reaches some of the other up & coming Brit rders.
barrow boy
Well done referee. Not only did you not allow a perfect start by Tai Woffinden you then went on to allow what was obviously a moving Jarek Hampel to get away with a definite roller. spiegal
Well done Tomasz...a nice little earner £20 e/way @ 12/1...a little information always helps..
SteveLyric2
Red Bull must be rubbing their hands over another GP winner. With Emil out for a while, Jarek steps up to keep the RB name in the lead over Monster, with minimal investment compared to their rival! But what a boring GP, for the most part! Scorechart filled in by start of lap 3 for most of the heats!
New Science
I may have missed something but who the heck is he? seemed to be pumped up whoever it is,plus he seems to be pictured with all the riders!!! He's pictured with all the Monster riders who win a heat.First time he has been seen in the same shot as Antonio Lindback for about 3 months ! Well done Tai Woffinden, keep it going and you will be the next British World Champion. Don't forget some tremendously fast equipment tuned by the best in the business Peter Johns All in all an enjoyable GP which i thought deserved more comments. Lol Hampel you so going to be bleeped in the repeats. Your easily pleased ! First 16 heats there were only 2 passes after lap 1,once the guys had sorted themselves out on the back straight your could basically fill the programme in with confidence. Not good enough for league racing let alone a G.P. Well done to Tai another controlled performance, not sure a fully fit Sayfidinov would be able to live with his pace, now in a great position to become World Champ, lets pray for no more injuries. Awww thought Zagar was going to get that at the start. Unless i getting my bands mixed up he's one step closer to the edge and he's about to break lol. Heat 10 stunning line-up Truly a great win by Tai there. Only downside is i had hoped that Sky had copyrighted the awful "Woofy Woofy Woofy" and Pearson wouldn't be allowed to use it on Eurosport lol. Awww thought Zagar was going to get that at the start. keepturningleft
How dare you insult one of the most erudite Americans on the world stage. A master of the apropos phrase, tremendous grasp of grammar and razor-sharp insights. You owe him an unreserved apology. Sincerely. Charles "Dukie" Ermolenko.PHD English Language Studies. Brilliant! The thing is that when I hear those two dreaded words Sam and Ermolenko, I now think the worlds worst ever commentator rather than brilliant speedway rider.
BWitcher
Not at all as it was held in Britain. At the Cardiff GP absolutely. I fail to see where an event is held makes any difference whatsoever. I assume you expect BBC/ITV to show no bias towards England should they reach the World Cup in Brazil. Or show any bias when Europe are playing the US in the Ryder Cup on American shores. He's pictured with all the Monster riders who win a heat.First time he has been seen in the same shot as Antonio Lindback for about 3 months ! One person who doesn't get enough credit is Jacko. It's all well and good having the engine tuned but the setup on the night is just as crucial and Jacko, his chief mechanic will play a huge part in this. Totally agree with your assessment of the meeting, it was very poor racing wise. Not that I am too concerned at the moment, I'm just cheering Tai on. Mrs mark246
I expect the BBC/ITV or whoever to cheer for their own but I don't live in Britain and could hear it over our commentary. Perhaps it's the fault of the TV coverage. Who knows. Perhaps our commentators should be louder. Sounded like they had taken over the stadium. Then it's going to be louder at the next GP. Seriously!!! speedwaysliders
Ermolenko said " yeah Woffy took a kinda wide line ,may have let Greg go through "!!!! Looked a kinda strange race i must admit, even off the last turn Woffinden looked like he could have raced to the line, but anyone else think sam was out of line saying that even though it looked kinda iffy. The Know
Very average meeting, bit of racing in closing stages but about it. Tia rode well and with his head. Ermonlenko is one dreadful presenter and should move back to the usa. As for Pearson, GOOFY GOOFY GOOFY, sums him up
pandorum
God do you people ever stop whining about the commentators. Try doing something radical and just enjoy the SGP for what they are. Individual speedway meets. Sometimes good, sometimes great and sometimes awful. Just like any other sport in the world. Well done Woffy on another step towards the only title in the SGP that really matters. Shame Emil is not there but all this tripe about him not being British and Darcy Ward blah blah blah does not detract one bit from the achievement this kid has made in 2013. Last couple of hurdles and he can join a very elite band of English speedway riders who are legends and deserve that title. Missed the meeting as I was travelling through the Rockies at the time but will be home for Sweden and hope to see this kid stuff the words of his detractors, including me, right down our gullets
