Well has Emil withdrawn?

“Maybe he will be back tomorrow; maybe he will be back in one month or two months. Until that day, we won’t give any information. When you see him show up on track, you will see he is back. He’s having rehabilitation now and he’s with the doctors and physiotherapists.”

I love the air of mystery surrounding the Sayfutfinov camp, but surely he won't return this season, let alone this weekend? That crash was horrific...

Emil's apparently riding.

Don't be suprised if he magically "pulls out" at the last minute, The BSI's desperation for ticket sales is obvious; They know full well that One Sport is the future of speedway and Paul Bellamy is just trying to cash out before the GP series ends up as a sub-standard product.

Total bollocks!! Ticket sales for Krsko is nothing to do with BSI.

EMIL SAYFUTDINOV WITHDRAWS FROM THIS WEEKEND'S DOODSON SLOVENIAN FIM SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX

Speedway governing body, the FIM, has confirmed that Russian rider Emil Sayfutdinov has officially withdrawn from the Doodson Slovenian FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Krsko on Saturday.

The 23-year-old, who is currently sitting second in the World Championship standings, just three points off Great Britain's Tai Woffinden in first, has failed to recover from injuries sustained last Saturday while riding for his Polish club Czestochowa against Torun in the Polish Ekstraliga play-off semi-finals.

Sayfutdinov's place in Saturday's line-up will be taken by Denmark's SGP second reserve Leon Madsen - who dons the No.20 race jacket

ANOTHER beautiful day here in Krkso so no weather worries about tonight's event. Leon Madsen and Martin Vaculik skipped yesterday's practice when some riders were complaining that the track was generating TOO much dirt.

Unusually Nicki Pedersen only did three of his six runs, perhaps that was why, but Tomasz Gollob was making lots of noise in the covered pits revving the c+++ out of his bikes which is usually a sign he is interested!
