Elitserien Round 14

Recommended Posts

Wow doesn't sound quite as simple as thought, Uk tv just said, firstly the top surface taken off, then hot ash spread over followed by fresh shale on top of that which will then be packed down and graded. Not exactly a few minutes work.

Taking a tIme out for now.

The final standings (unofficial so far) will be like this (unless Piraterna looses the grip due to the weather):

1. Piraterna 24p

2. Dackarna 24p

---------------

3. Indianerna 20p

4. Västervik 19p

5. Ikaros Smederna 18p

6. Elit Vetlanda 15p

Indianerna will get to choose between Vetlanda and Ikaros Smederna, Västervik will get the remaining team but can still decided if the want to start away or at home.

Please don't leave me all on my own...

I'm swiveling my chair around to watch the England/ Scotland U21s but whilst there is a chance of it going ahead, faithful fans will stick with it. Besides, Ghostwalker will have to watch for a guy in a fedora carrying a violin case down the main street of Eskilstuna if he doesn't produce the goods. Alan.

With the delays will normal track grading intervals not apply?

I don't know, but I would guess that they will do heats 7-10 before grading, then have a short interval after heat 10 for grading

Not sure if they'll do any more grading after that, I guess it depends on how track shapes up.

I'm biding my time entertaining myself making a speedway video with a perfect soundtrack. A cool song M-Bike by P J Harvey (from her ballsy bluesy rock era not her recent twittering Kate Bush on speed days).

It would make a good soundtrack to a compilation reel at the end of a broadcast. Although SGP and SEC might have a problem with a couple of F-Bombs in it lol. Alternatively an excerpt would be very good for the introduction to a programme. The lyrics and guitar breaks would fit certain action shots and the backdrops surrounding a speedway meeting, yep definitely including the Monster Girls and start line ladies :)

Not hard to imagine the clips you could add. A short clip of the song is here http://www.youtube.c...h?v=ESoSAjmLXaI

The land of the midnight speedway. May even be midnight here in the US before this is over!

I hope Little Red Riding Hood hasn't gone to the meeting tonight, she'll have to make her way home through the forest in the dark around midnight too.

Congrats to the track curator for a magnificent job judging by heat 7.

If the play-offs take place in the rain at least we got a chance of a good meeting at Motala.

Pirates needs 8 points from the final 3 heats to secure the league win.

heat 13, a really great heat. Nicki gates but Jonas Davidsson goes around him on the outside, Sundström passes Kildemand and was super close on going

around Nicki on the outside but Nicki managed to defend his 2nd place.

Nominations: Piraterna Hancock R2, Pawlicki B4, Kildemand V1, Miedzinski Y3
