Catalan
SHOULD, be an easy win for the Rebels, but in there position, you take nothing for granted... As i said, professional job needed. Think Garry knows that mate.
gusworld
On paper should be a comfortable win for the Rebels. However it would be nice to see Jorgensen, Roynon and Wells make a match of it as they all go well round the OTA. Could be a chance for Lambo to shine against his old team and get a few points from reserve to boost his confidence for the upcoming northern tour.

oldtimer
I'll be coming up for this one, as it is a Wednesday, which suits me nicely. Better than football against the Jocks. Looking forward to some good racing and parallel entertainment rather than the rather intense must-win-at-all-costs attitude we see at times. Speedway should remember it is in the entertainment business, the average casual spectator can be put off by too much of the "gotta win or we'll change the team again" stuff some clubs seem to adopt. I hope for your sake there is some good racing, although it looks like a string of 5-1's to me, but I have been wrong before. Charlieboy
At the start of the season our management team were concerned about our asset base so we signed 2 5point men and 1 3point man and turned them into 2 3point men and 1 1 1/2 point man.We had to wait till mid season to get the true averages while other teams got their meetings in and changed riders. We now have the 4 home 4 away an ideal chance to bring a new rider ( possibly a u21 lad from last weeks Berwick meeting) and blood them for next season.Tonight we are using a 7 point man to replace steady Why not get our own asset on a 7 average. The season is over and has been since steady got injured. Are we going to have the same start next season with the 4 home 4 away excuse.Other teams are doing it why don't we.?

Massey Harris
Because that would put Roynon at number 1 Charlie and he is nowhere near ready for it. Edited August 14, 2013 by Massey Harris

Brooksy
Unless things pick up considerably this afternoon, the only winner tonight is going to be the weather. Constant drizzle at the moment, with little sign of improvement in the near future. We can but hope.
Pirate Nick
Looking at the weather radar the band of rain over you at the moment should clear in about 3/4 hour and then there are clear skies.
idh
Taken from the Poole Website "Josh Grajczonek is unavailable as the racing authorities have decreed that he must turn out for his Premier League side Somerset, and so Kyle Howarth, who came close to winning the World U21 round at Berwick on Saturday night, as a deputy, will appear again for the Pirates". RebelRebel
Is it possible for anyone to keeps us updated on the weather situation down there as I for one would like to know if it will be worth it or a waste of petrol. I am 12 to 15 miles from track (not sure exact distance) rain stopped about 1pm but started again later and steady drizzle at 16-35.

Well, it's wet at the moment, still raining on and off, but not heavy. Can see clearer sky coming in from the West, but it may be too late by the time it arrives. If the breeze picks up we might have a chance. You know how it works - if you stay at home, it's sure to be on, if you don't, it won't. Now getting worse. Little chance of this going ahead I'd say. 6.45pm...sun trying to break through. Hope it's not too late. AndyK86
68 - 23 , Promotion cant hide behind injuries anymore to be honest, other clubs have suffered but have quite simply dealt with it better and seems riders we have signed are all prone to injuries because of their riding style. It has cost the club badly now and its a club in freefall and its not nice to see.
Halifordukesfan
Probably best to cut their losses, pay off the riders, pay the SCB fines for not completing the fixtures, save the supporters from any more embarassment, close down now.
