And for those fans unable to get to Loomer Road tomorrow (such as myself stuck in here courtesy of a flipping flu-type virus!) the great news on the Stoke official website this morning is that the meeting will be broadcast live on line! Go to the latest news section at: http://stokepotters.co/

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number...preferably early rather than later as I am going to a Doctor Who convention!

It's wonderful to see the tremendous excitement this NL Fours has for everyone judged on the wonderful response it has generated in this thread.

It all looks well organised! Just a matter now of letting people know it's later this afternoon!

It is in my opinion a bad format.... Half the riders who have to travel a long way to get there, will only get 2 rides and very little money most will be well out of pocket..It is time they went back to the old system of qualification....Reginal qualifying with all riders getting 4 rides... 4 teams to the final at a neutral track...

Over the years I don't think that I have seen organisation for a major tournament to equal what hass surrounded this event. Not all Stoke's fault - let's be fair. Much blame must rest with the "top brass" at the National League who organised this.

It tends to remind me of the Conference League Pairs final at Wimbledon (not only hit during the meeting by bad weather) but an all-too complex system for the racing that also resulted in problems.
