Newcastle V Redcar Premier League Sunday 11th August At 7.00pm

Recommended Posts

Don't forget, this match starts at 7pm

Diamonds v Bears are never matches to miss. I am greatly impressed by Redcar this season and they might just force us into a last heat decider

Depends which Ludvig Lindgren turns up for the Diamonds

Yeah he is very inconsistent but when he goes out wide with big fistfuls of throttle he is great to watch.

Looks like Christian is out for the season and we are looking for a good replacement, not many of them available but good luck George

i wonder myself which bears team will turn up and if DRAC will be knocked out by mr worrall for sticking up for some young girls giving worrall banter in the pits at the STeMP on his last visit.

should be a good meeting all the same on a well prepared (not ruff anymore) track ;)

I see Christian Henry is out for the season, Diamonds are looking for a replacement. Claus Nedermark and Pepe Franc are available I believe, anyone else got any ideas?

pepe has always got too many weekend commitments.... We could bring in an assessed 7 pointer from Scandinavia .... What's Leon madsens ave?? Think we have just over 7 to replace Christian with.

Depends on our budget which prob ain't big... plus Henry lives local so will all add up to get someone new in.

newcastle diamonds have nearly riden all season with 6 riders r.r. the people i feel for are the fans paying top dollar for a sub standard product, the funny thing as i see it nobody seems to mind paying full admision and only seeing a limited number of riders

well,,, just read the news on the website,,, and the way it looks to me, is that George is looking to sign anyone that has the 'potential' to score between 0-12 points,,, so that narrows it down a bit, bit of a grey area there then,,, hmmm

Sorry - I don't see the point of your Post. We, at Newcastle, are NOT getting a sub standard product. We have been VERY unfortunate with injuries this year. Speedway Supporters appreciate this and the fact that the Team has to, on occasions, struggle on with a Rider short. Remember that with only six Riders in your Team that an injury during a Meeting will put you down to five Riders - then you really are in trouble. R/R isn't ideal but it works.

There is nothing wrong with that.

When Andy got injured, no one knew how long he was going to be out for. Getting someone in short term for an unknown length of time probably proved virtually impossible, as riders wouldn't know how long they would be signing for.

Now we know Christian is out for the season (hope he makes a full recovery and can get back next season) it should be easier to tempt someone to sign until the end of the current campaign.

Cutting your own nose off to spite your face. Nobody is complaining about the enforced RR, especially with the winning and the standard of racing again this year. Enjoy your bangers. :D
