Guest
i have not commented on the state of the Track, i wasnt there so its not for me to comment, obviously the Kent riders found it difficult, but i will comment on the Team manager situation, apparently Will Pottinger The Heathens Team manager stood in, so someone has stated <not confirmed>. This was a difficult situation for Will, unless the Kent riders asked him to complain, i doubt he would have done so, all i will say, it was the same for both teams, and luckily there was no serious injuries. past is past, and we move on, and hopefully learn from the experience. If he did take charge, was Will Pottinger asked to team manage Kent Kings previous to the match or was it a case of "he was at the track and stood in"? Bryn
I don't know the answer to your question 'gustix' but I very much doubt that it was a matter of someone spotting Will at the track, going up to him and saying, "Oh really glad you're here today Will, and as you've got the necessary licence, could you do the Kent Kings a favour and team manage them today please?"

The visitors team manager Freddie Millward broke down on the way to the track and the ACU Steward (nowadays called the referee) asked me to take charge of the California team. New Cross Ranger
Surely in this thread we should be focusing on what a great performance it was by the Kings last night rather than what went on at a previous meeting. I thought they were superb last night albeit against an understrength 'Storm' team. Boxall is beginning to look almost unbeatable around CP at this level. Well done lads all we need now is to up the away performances and add a little more consistency.

I agree, but if nobody posts comments in regard to Kings' defeat of Coventry Storm, what do you suggest? Perhaps your excellent comment will divert Posts in that direction?
