jim the whipper
Just been through a medical directory , apparently "Suspected" broken Limbs can heal extremely quickly if treated with sour grapes
Guest
Sounds like the track was the usual ploughed field with riders falling all over the place ,,not a good advert for speedway ,,Jack Kingston badly injured and Boxall withdrawn from the meeting ,,does anyone know why,,???,, as we have another meeting tomorrow ,,a disaster apart from Mason and Morley.. Â Boxall - suspected fractured elbow Kingston - suspected broken rib Compton - pulled his shoulder, in extreme pain. Â Surprised to hear that Benji was injured as saw him afterwards smiling and having a beer!!! Â It's good to see, according to Nikko, that the 'healing hand' has moved kindly on Steve Boxall, Jack Kingston and Benji Compton - all reported as having been casualties for one thing or another at Buxton - are now fully recovered. I am sure that I read somewhere that Benji Compton had also taken a knock? Â I think the Benji Compton mystery is solved. We also know that 'broken elbow' victim Steve Boxall was later seen buying chips! And it's also ood to see Jack Kingston has also shrugged off his suspected broken rib. There are obviously wonderful healing qualities in the hills at Buxton.

I thought they were caused by sour grapes.......

Jonny the spud
Tried following the match on twitter but I think every heat has had a stoppage of some kind. Got fed up in the end. What is it at Kent. It's like that every week

Jonny the spud
You missed my point. Twitter is faster than the updates site. I got fed up as apart from heat 7 which had RR. every other heat has either had a re start or a fall. I don't know of any other track that has so many fallers. Nikko
Hi All  Ive tried to keep you all up to date on here.  I was advised not too, but wanted to try.  Im afraid that due to the the stupid posts above I will not be updating the BSF again.  Sorry to the true fans but I don't need the hassle anymore.  Nikko

The boys were ok in the end which is the main thing and had that been any different then I'm sure fun would have been curtailed. Lets face it it's not often fun and the BSF are mentioned in the same sentence even the Tony Millard appreciation society has turned nasty and that got off to a blinding start.  I apologise for my part anyway. As Buxton, and many other teams, you are only trying to do your best with what you have.  All the best for the rest of the season

Jonny the spud
Â Â Not sure what meeting you were following?! First rerun (for an unsatisfactory start) wasn't until heat 8! Â I was following the Kent official twitter feed. There were fallers / tape breakages in each of the first six heats plus restarts for broken tapes in heat 4&6 I got fed up trying to follow it. All I asked is why there seems to be so many fallers at the Kent track every week
greyhoundp
Well done to Kent on another home win, tough on Storm, meeting Kent when they at last seem to have a competitive team, going to be pretty hard from here on in, for teams to take points off them at home.. TMW
Nikko: see you how you feel in the morning! Â Â Although I do think that Kent should have complained through some more formal channels rather than on here with talk of photo's and injuries etc. It is easy to get roped in but I hope it's a lesson learned Edited August 13, 2013 by TMW
greyhoundp
i have not commented on the state of the Track, i wasnt there so its not for me to comment, obviously the Kent riders found it difficult, but i will comment on the Team manager situation, apparently Will Pottinger The Heathens Team manager stood in, so someone has stated <not confirmed>. This was a difficult situation for Will, unless the Kent riders asked him to complain, i doubt he would have done so, all i will say, it was the same for both teams, and luckily there was no serious injuries. past is past, and we move on, and hopefully learn from the experience.
