Ghostwalker
How did AJ look Ghostwalker? Seems like he did ok for his first meeting back. yeah he looked good. I think he had good speed throughout the entire meeting. Still not a good gater though. A brief review of the meeting: heat 1: great start by Zorro, Nermark and Jedrzejak was close behind him going in into the first bend. Laguta was a little behind the others but found a nice line between Nermak and JJ which propelled him past both of them. Laguta and Zorro had no problem keeping the 5-1 for the remaining 3½ laps. heat 2: Initially looked like a 3-3 when Davidssons bike packed up at the start. Ludvig in front, EKlöf 2nd and Berntzon 3rd. Berntzon find some very nice grip along the fence and passed Ludvig on the outside. 4-2 Smederna heat 3: Pk took this from the start, and if I remember it correctly Buczek managed to squeeze himelsf up into 3rd. 4-2 Smederna. heat 4: quite undramatic, Batchelor from the gate, Linus was close initially but lost some ground after a whiel. AJ kept chasing but were never within striking distance. heat 5: A great start by Oliver (!) took him up into the lead where he remained for the rest of the heat, Zorro tried and trid but wasn't able to pass Ludvig. 4-2 Smederna. heat 6: Batchelor gates and moves into 1st, out of the first bend PK and Buczek passes Nermark who was holding 2nd, less then half a lap later Smederna have moved within striking range of Troy. The Russian rocket blasts past Troy on the inside while Buczek are doing the same on the outside. Buzz and PK keeps the lead with ease for the last 3 laps. 5-1 Smederna. heat 7: A more or less identical heat as heat 6. Västervik's riders gates but Smederna takes care of the first one in the first bend and across the line after one lap Laguat and Zorro did the same move as PK and Buzz in the previous heat. 5-1 Smederna. heat 8: a quite undramatic heat. PK takes his 2nd win and still have a maximum (8+1) after three rides. Buzz brings in the one pointer. 4-2 Smederna. heat 9: Linus gates but lacks enough speed to keep Västervik's rider behind him. AJ with an easy win. heat ends 3-3. heat 10: Laguta misses the start again but manages to get himself up into 1st without any problem. Oliver misses the start and does not have enough speed to threathen Ludvig and Troy. heat 11: Oliver gates and takes the lead, Eklöf manages to squeeze himself into second going into bend 1 on lap 2. He and Berntzon keeps the lead all the way. 5-1 Smederna. heat 12: Nermark and JJ gates, AJ manages to split the 5-1 with a nice insider. Buczek a bit behind. Västervik win the heat with 4-2. The only heat in which they score more points then Smederna. heat 13: Hans takes the lead from the strart and keeps it for the remainder of the heat. Zorros manages to pass Nemark and secures a 3-3. This was the only lost point for PK tonight. 11+1 so far from 4 rides. heat 14: A Smederna 5-1 from tapes. heat 15: PK from the start, AJ misses some but manages to pass Hans and going out of the final bend AJ squeezes himself past Troy but Troy have a little better acceleration out of the bend and re-passes andreas just before the line and gets 2nd by 2-3 inches. 4-2 Smederna and 59-31 in the meeting. Smederna gets 2p for the win as well as the aggregated bonus point. The track was very good the first half of the meeting but then lost the outside grip. Perhaps the track became a but dry as they didn't want to put to much water on the track as there was a high risk for rain. Laguta was unbelievable, super fast and are usually able to find good lines for passing 12p maximimum for him. He has 47+2 out of 51 possible the last three meetings. PK 13+1 tonight. I'm a bit gutted that he missed his maximum. AJ was also very good tonight. 10+1 for him. Good lines, smooth racing and good speed. Cuuld be better if he had better starts. Oliver Berntzon a very very good meeting from him 9 out 12 possible points. 3 heat wins and good riding in general. Well deserved for him. Zorro had a much better meeting then two weeks ago. 7p is a pretty good score from him. Buczek only managed 5p from 4 rides. A little too little. Possible he will get an unwanted rest nest week in favor of Kjastas Poudzuks. LInus Eklöf was totally ok , he takes the scores that is reuqired. Smederna and Hammarby will meet in Stockholm on Monday next week which is last weeks postponed meeting. Then on Tuesday we have: Indianerna - Smederna Piraterna - Vargarna Elit Vetlanda - Hammarby Västervik - Dackarna Current standings: Piraterna 13 617 - 553 21 Dackarna 13 611 - 558 21 Västervik 13 602 - 566 19 Indianerna 13 584 - 586 17 Ikaros Smederna 12 546 - 533 15 Vargarna 13 584 - 584 12 Elit Vetlanda 13 578 - 592 12 Hammarby 12 465 - 615 8

Will he do well in the premier league?
Ghostwalker
I'm normally a reader not a poster, so can any of you guys shed some light about anton Rosen as he's just signed for the team I follow, newcastle. Will he do well in the premier league? yeah I do think he will do well but as always there is difference between riding abroad then riding in your home league, you know new environment, another type of tracks and etc. He has done well so far this season though, upping his average from 0,782 to 1,055. Eeeek! that's about as low as you can get lol. Ok hang on you're quoting the averages in the awful style starting to be used by some sources.of points per race instead of per meeting. I think the Swedish league started doing that last year? I personally find the traditional for decades (4 rides) 12 points maximum averages far more comprehensible. If you see a display of all riders in a league on points per race it's hard to discern differences when you have to go into the hundredths etc. Plus it's easier to grasp that a rider averages seven and a half points a meeting than 1.875 per race. Oh yeah 0.782 and 1.055 equate to a more friendly 3.13 and 4.22. Which method do you prefer Ghostwalker the one we are all used to or this new per race display? (ok or couldn't care less is a third option lol).
Ghostwalker
I prefer the current Swedish method since its the most accurate and a true average (X / Y = average). Scored points divided by ridden heats. Very simple. The old (18 formula) system does not take into account the number of heats nut only the number of meetings. And imo it does not reflect the tactual capacity of the riders since it also was a quite slow system and large changes in the average took longer to get in affect. I think this is the 3rd or 4th season with these averages.
