Devilforever
my thoughts are with Rickys family, I am a Plymouth fan but can understand the anguish everyone close to Ricky is goung through at the moment. These lads risk life and limb for the love of the sport and to rread that some moron shouted it serves him right beggars belief. These lads are someone sons, brother, grandson and surely deserve a bit more respect. Get well soon Ricky. loving thoughts being sent from us at Plymouth x

screm
Following yesterday’s major crash involving Berwick Bandit’s number one Ricky Ashworth at Scunthorpe, Berwick Speedway Club have issued this update at 9.00am: Ricky had been moved from Scunthorpe to a specialist neurological ward in Hull, but as yet has still to regain consciousness and remains in a stabalised condition. He has been admitted to an intensive care where his condition remains serious and doctors will monitor his recovery. The next official comment from Berwick Speedway Club will come during tonight’s meeting at Shielfield

Daniel Smith
First thought's are with Ricky Ashworth & family and seriously wishing for rhe right outcome. Secondly, Scunthorpe supporter's should have a right to reply regarding abusive insults directed at Ashworth after the accident. Was it just one or a few? Somebody on here will know them. These people should hang their head in shame if they remain silent as these fans / fan should be reported and suspended from Scunthorpe Speedway. Best wishes Ricky fella, don't give up
