greyhoundp
Good meeting tonight, with probably in my opinion some of the best racing we have seen at Monmore in the NL this season, Kings were superbly led by Steve Boxhall every race he was in was worth the admission money, Benji fought hard for his 9 points, Ben never stopped trying, Jack Kingston impressed me he never gave up, and in the 2nd of his 2 falls he was unlucky, as i thought Paul Starke may have taken him out,Dissapointed with David Mason who seemed down on power, and Connor who seems to have gone back a bit, and Adam Kirby was not the same Adam Kirby who rode as a guest at Monmore earlier in the season, although to be fair he had numerous ef,s. For Dudley i am yet to be convinced we will win the league, Max was obviously missed, and we would have had another 6/7 points from him, Nathan to me seems lacking both power and confidence, Gareth is inconsistent, and Dan where has the rider from 2012 gone ? he was out gating the best of NL riders last season, but this year he is rarely making the gate, and therefore struggling. However well done to both sets of riders tonight, a very enjoyable meeting.
Parsloes 1928 nearly
Poor Andy Kirby has had two engine failures and a fall so far at Dudley. And even worse you're calling him Andy when his name's Adam!!
Guest
And even worse you're calling him Andy when his name's Adam!! Whoops! Coincidence - Andy Kirby is a friend of one of my grandsons. Just 4-years-old and far from being a speedway rider! My sincere apologies to ADAM Kirby!
pete cc
well done kent kings. Its been awhile since an away team came and had a go at monmore wood.I think Adam Kirby will be a better rider for the problems he had tonight & agree about Jack Kingston.David mason didn't look interested? Was he unwell?
Heathen1984
Pretty sure Kent fans in front of me said mason had a bad arm or something like that!

blueherb777
Can I just say the `SpeedwayGB` site has 2 Kent Kings scores wrong. They have Morley 7 - Kingston 6.Should be Morley 5 - Kingston 8.
waco
There seems to be some confusion on the updates over the result of heat 4,,it states jack fell first bend and then pushed his bike off the track ,,Ben slowed expecting a restart,.Later one of the Heathens had a bike failure and failed to finish, the result was a 3-2 to Dudley which suggests Ben came second not Jack who had fallen ,,But on the riders score chart it shows Jack scored 2 points and Ben did not finish ,Confusing to say the least i suppose someone at the meeting knows what actually happened and may be they could enlighten us all....???. greyhoundp
Ben came second when only 2 finished in Ht 4, Jack lost it on Bend 1 and fell, Ben slowed expecting an all 4 back, then tootled round at the back, then Greaves has Ef, so Ben got 2nd, only two finished, then Ben got a good 2nd to Morris in Ht 6, Then won Ht 9, and ran a last place to Morris, Blackbird and Boxhall in Ht 13. I think 21st must have been surprised when he did the texting, by the Kings having a go, and he got to excited . Im sure i heard on the way out Jack scored 6, which adds up, he was worth more than that, and Kings were worth more than the 39 that they scored. moosetash64
Sorry but on tonight's showing Adam Kirby was awful, falls off too much by watching him tonight. Kingston looks promising thou, decent rider You are entitled to your opinion Heathen 1984, yes by recent results from Adam it was a very poor show by him lastnight. But you are probably unaware of the reasons behind him falling off. In his first heat his rear chain snapped as he was halfway round bend 2 hence it almost throwing him over the handle bars and him going down. Similar thing happened in his second heat but chain didn't break it just came off jamming the back wheel. His third ride he just over locked between 3rd & 4th bend and spun it right round. You say he was awful but i just say it was a bad night for him and he knows he should hav done much much better and will be working hard ro get back on track and scoring the points he is well capable of. waco
Adam has had a fair bit of trouble with chains, im wondering if a sprocket is worn or the sprocket alignment is ok,, I dont know ?,, ,just looking for a possible reason? He was also riding with an injury from monday night that caused his withdrawal from that meeting .Please dont knock the lad he is making good progress in general ,,just had a bad week thats all...Jack Kingston has had some rough weeks but this week he has produced some usefull points for the team..maybe starting to use his head a little, he already has plenty of dash about him ,,, it ,s a bit swings and roundabouts for most of these young riders...Its called learning the trade by experience.... Ommer Mon
I was very impressed with the Kings on Tuesday. They certainly didn't look like a team who had only won their first League match the night before. Steve Boxall is a class act and was worth the admission money on his own. He never gave up and produced some excellent racing. Jack Kingston also impressed. Probably the most entertaining meeting we'e seen at Monmore Wood this year. Sounded like Nigel Pearson was impressed as well.
