If it will be LONIGO again, which will be better than Terenzano (don't forget the Pizzeria close to the stadium in Lonigo), dear Philip Rising, give the responsible the message:

do not have an italian SGP in the hottest month of the year. Forget July, let's have the GP in May or September.

- not so high temperature, - hopefully track conditions not ultra slick, still nice weather there, holidays in the area will be fine .....

thank you for putting forward these arguments :)

Certainly seen a few good races at Lonigo over the years-not many but some.

not in July but in the month of SEPTEMBER !!

This GP starts at the later time at 7pm uk time

It's usually always one hour later but nobody seems to have told Eurosport as i've checked several tv listings and they all have it down as a 6pm start (ending at 9pm). Scott Nicholls and his co-host are going to have to chinwag for a good hour extra ahead of the meeting lol. Superbikes qualifying is scheduled for 9pm and don't they give that preference over Speedway? eeeeek!

The only listing I use is my sky tv planner-which clearly shows programme on Eurosport 2 starts at 7 pm.They also for foreign GP`S use our friend the talented continuity man,not Scott and sidekick. Edited by racers and royals

AS of this morning Andreas Jonsson hasn't withdrawn and has told Tony Olsson that he intends being in Terenzano.

AJ will not race at Terenzano, Madsen replaces him:

Yeah it didn't show at the last time i had checked that so i went to multiple other sources and they all showed 6pm. But Sky Guide and a couple of other places are now showing the 7pm start :)

For those of us who can`t afford an Italian holiday, and a GP at the same time, the Ivy Bush in Newport will be showing the GP,and just for SCB,there`s an 80`s disco after it,plus the landlord`s birthday celebrations will be taking place....could be a messy night in the bush.....

Excellent news that a pub is showing it and i hope your post brings along a few extra people which in turn encourages the landlord to show more speedway.

Only mystifying aspect is why a disco with music from some THIRTY years ago! One of the biggest criticisms of some speedway tracks is that they play really old music. Don't see how tracks that do that, or pubs, hope to attract a younger crowd, something that the sport is in desperate need of for it to carry on into the future.

Think the clue is in the part where I mentioned the landlords birthday.....to be fair thought,he does have live music most Friday and Saturday nights...

I knew it was a very small 'stadium' but ouch it only holds 4,000, has it ever been full? I think the INDOOR Norwegian hall held at least double that.
