Panthers89
lots of this started due to North so keep your own riders in check! Nice to see you condone violence though Hardly... Barker was an idiot before this season started, and the whole North/Barker incident took place. Yes Dakota was wrong in what he did, he got fined for the incident, but was you there on Monday against the Brummies? Was all Barker this time, even went for Hougaard. Guys a headcase. TheScotsman
Interested to know what the "significant initial provocation by the opposing rider" was.
SCB
Cookie's statement now online - http://www.cookieracing.com/ What a load of rubbish. Would have had more respect if he'd said, "He's a little rubbish who has been looking for a slap for a long time". That statement is just not true. freddyfivetoes
Forget the (deserved) slap delivered upon Little Ben. Both riders were fined for their scuffle, which was Act I. Â The exclusion (a word I've been wanting to use correctly ever since they changed the rule-book) from the meeting came from Act II Â The closed-doors session, during which Cook apparently did become a Monster, and had to go. Panthers89
Can tell that Monarchs management have urged him to say this.... and move on, quietly and quickly.

freddyfivetoes
No apology to the injured party?? Â Apologise to a heater? Hardly necessary.
hyderd
No apology to the injured party?? Â Why should he apologize, Barkers got a mouth bigger than the Thames estuary and had it coming.
Super Blue
Interested to know what the "significant initial provocation by the opposing rider" was. Â You are definitely right with that post ! Â Wonder exactly what Barker said or did ? Â I suppose we will never know as revealing such info could bring all sorts of ramifications . Â At least he's acknowledged he was out of order for his actions ( whatever the reason )
SCB
Which part is not true and how do you know? Â Were you there? The bit about not being like it and he's sorry. He told Barker on twitter that nobody liked him and was provicing him in the last 2 weeks. Â Should have said sorry to the fans and the club for costing them a chance in the cup and left it at that. Â Â No apology to the injured party?? TBF, if he thinks Barker deserved it then he shouldn't apologise to him.

TheScotsman
A couple of lines on twitter is hardly going to provoke anyone. Â He obviously felt he needed to give a little more background to his actions without being able to give all the details. (perhaps because Edinburgh are appealing the decision?) Â I've never know of Cookie being hot headed and certainly not a dirty rider. He has however been blasted on the BSF for that incident in the Fours when all the evidence of videos and stills shows he was innocent so has been subject to a lot of provocation. Â He is usually a pretty cool head otherwise he wouldn't have knocked up 20 odd consecutive heat 15 rides unbeaten by an opponent, home and away.
montie
Â Â Whether Ben had it coming or not had nothing to do with it. Once the referee gets involved you just say yes sir no sir and get on with it on track. Â If you were GB manager, would you risk selecting Cook for an important meeting if he can't control his temper ? He'd be an immediate target for opposition riders to wind up a d we've all seen what happens then. Â On the other hand,if you we GB manager would you risk selecting Barker for a meeting knowing the the rest of the team, and probably the opposition can't stand him ?? Â As a neutral ,why is it that is always seems to be Barker involved in these type of things and what is the reason why fellow riders can't stand him?? Can't be just because he has a big mouth
Taylorj
Barker is a huge problem, I don't know why but he seems to rub people up the wrong way for one reason or another (on and off track) . In the past few weeks I know of at least three riders who have come to blows with him. Cookie maybe took things a little too far but there is one underlining factor, and that's Ben Barker. Hallelujah , someone seems to have got Little Miss Innocent down to a tee
SpeedwayTShirts
Craig has been invited onto the BIKERfm Speedway Show on Tuesday evening to discuss the happenings. We'll confirm when we hear back from him.

Can't be just because he has a big mouth exactly. Im an Ipswich fan and he is dislike thats obvious so why the heck did Middlo pick him? Tai has even gone on Twitter to congratulate Cook!Yet again poor decision making from Middlo
Wolfsbane
Barker's a lightweight with an attitude problem. Cook's a mug for getting involved with him.
