msc1874
Early start for this one, but weather permitting this should be a great clash. Diamonds flying and Monarchs looking to avenge the pasting we took at the sale. I am heading to this one on route up the road from a friends wedding in Birmingham. Can anybody recommend a good hotel near the track? Cheers

erniew
There is a Travellodge at the Silverlink Retail Park, 1 mile north of the Tyne Tunnel on the A19, you might get a good deal.
toontrader
if you are heading north via the tyne tunnel, bear in mind that it is the sunderland airshow and traffic through the tunnel will be heavy between 4pm and 6pm. best come through Newcastle and avoid A19

Chewbacca
If you've not used it www.laterooms.com usually has good deals. Just put in the track postcode and you can sort the list by distance.
dantodan
Newcastle v Edinburgh at Brough. Who can forecast this one? The monarchs go well around our track and have already ditched us from the KO Cup with a win here at Brough. Craig Cook was brilliant on that occasion. I am certain that the diamonds are the better side even without our double figure at home man Christian Henry. I don't think the monarchs will win this time but the diamonds need every man scoring well, key will be the Andrew Tully/Ludvig Lindgren pairing if they struggle then maybe the visitors will come away with something. Come on the diamonds if you want to reach the playoffs beat the Monarchs
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Everyone smile nicely and be very polite to Mr Cook and then no one will get hurt and everyone will have a nice day Upset him and well .......

ruffdiamond
doubt it, he'll be there on nitro I'd think sure it won't take much to get him thrown out like
erniew
Let's hope for a better result than the last time the Monarchs came visiting together with some good mannered banter on the terraces.

dantodan
The August Greensheet averages make interesting reading Richie Worral 8.39 Ludvig Lindgren 7.13 Stuart Robson 7.10 Christian Henry 7.07 Andrew Tully 6.93 Lewis Kerr 5.54 Chris Schramm 3.37 Total 45.53 Richie will have to ride at number 1 from 1st August, probably to the relief of Stuart. Not much to chose between the averages for Ludvig, Robbo Christian and Andrew they are all doing great and what about the Kerminator!! what a find he was
The White Knight
I think Robbo will be pleased to relinquish the Number One spot. I wish him all the best in his new position. He is still my favourite Rider though.
StevePark
More of an impact on R/R, with only Robbo, Andy and the two reserves being able to take the ride.
acclennell
More of an impact on R/R, with only Robbo, Andy and the two reserves being able to take the ride. If that's the case and Christian is unfortunately out for a long period of time, then there may be a need to get someone in as otherwise all the hard work could be blown
