And NO ONE COULD HAVE DONE ANY BETTER THAN NEIL. Shall we just leave it there. Neil will give up as he really cannot do any more. And as No One is better than Neil. Then I suggest we go with No One. Then Starman2006 can step down from this demanding role of Defender of the Friendless. And take the holiday he deserves. I recommend a lovely B&B in Sturminster Marshall. Apparently all the local youths sit outside getting drunk and riding around on their bikes leading the locals to believe, "it what all young people do". I some how very much doubt it, its all very well shouting from behind a computer screen, but put you in the pits you would fall to pieces. Me, and every one else on here knew EK was the wrong choice, and what happened, EK struggled at Kings Lynn. He then pics a young rider in Cook, who was always going tor struggle. I have no problem with that. but to then drop him seems to me like a man who does not have a clue. The way Cook bemoaned being dropped suggests that was handled very badly. I am fairly sure I could have picked a slightly better team for Kings Lynn. So, other than Starman, any other Poole fans defending Middlo's handling and selection of riders for this years SWC? Sure you could have picked a better team, behind a computer screen its easy. How do you know it was handled badly, you are just guessing, how do you know that Cook didn't just throw all his toys out the pram? If Neil said im resting you for this meeting then Cook chucked all his toys out the pram thats not very professional, is it and the likelyhood being he's not likely to get looked at again, you just accept it. If Alex Fregusson told Rooney your being substituted and he starts kicking off, im sure that Fergusson would have had big words. But appart from Tai Bomber and perhaps Danny King, who else has Neil got to fall back on, and don't say the kids, because i would gurrantee you, you would be the first to moan when they got tailed off. even you have to admit he is very limited on choices. And it really wouldn't matter who was Team GB boss, you still have the same riders at their disposal. As i said, you can't turn a selling plater to coin a fraize into a Derby horse... If he puts out the experienced riders and we get beat, people moan, if he puts out the kids and they get tailed off, which they will, people will moan, he's in a no win situation.. But of course there are many would be managers on here who obviously think they can do better,,, behind a keyboard... He picked Kennett when nearly every speedway fan on here knew it was the wrong choice ..I doubt anyone could do worst than what team gb done in this world cup in comeing last in a race off behind USA and Latvia ..The bottom line is team gb results were poor with the side they had I can't see any logic than can show otherwise . Not sure why you keep using this stupid example about horses but if we are going to I would say we might have had a Derby Horse but our group horse got bet by two donkey on Weston super mare bench . Are you stupid I just did .My beef have never been about the team but the team spirit and tactics anyhow. the team put out for the race was easy good enough to come second but rode way under par something that is lost on you .
