SCB
Why no Morris? Is he injured? Schlein? Davey Watt is an elite league heat leader averaging over 8 and North is a reserve averaging just over 5 what a joke decision. I would have had Summers or Tungate even Josh G. Woodward to is second in the Eastbourne averages! North is big pals with Ward I guess that got him in because its certainly not on ability As it is, they've gone with Woodward but there is no way that Tungate, Summers (who I am quite a fan of) or Grazjonek should be in ahead of him! foreverblue
Personally would have given Watty another go but Woodward is the best alternative, Schlein was Awful at peterborough friday and isn't Morris british or was that just for one season! LagutaRacingFan
North isn't in the team because he speaks to Sullivan Woodward is a one track pony
A ORLOV
Personally would have given Watty another go but Woodward is the best alternative, Schlein was Awful at peterborough friday and isn't Morris british or was that just for one season! The authorities screwed up the acceptance of the offer from Morris to sign up as British. It will serve them right if he rides well for Aus in a year or two. Woz01
With the Aussies bringing Woodward in i see them as slight favourites but it could go either way especially with the joker rule.
SteveLyric2
correct choice North would have been embarrassed Who said it was going to be North.?? Woodward all the way! Maybe they were worried he would be more concerned with fencing Barker instead of scoring points Well that might apply to the whole Aussie team - including Doyley!!! SCB
Using 2013 EL averages (the only league all 4 ride in), Grajozonek can't evenr average 1 for Poole, Tungate is 4.54, Summers 4.63 and North 4.75. He 's the best of that lot you suggested should replace him. North is marginally ahead but he made the GP qualifiers unlike the rest and didn't do too bad in them. He also has the advantage of a few years over those listed too. As pointed out, irrelevant anyway, they have gone with Woodward.

oldtimer
Will be cheering anyone who can beat Australia, an Aussie win means Doyle will be missing a home and away match for Somerset.
nw42
what time does this kick off? why isnt king riding 6pm according to Eurosport site. King isn't riding because Barker & Bridger have been selected ahead of him. Can I get you a cushion? hth

screm
It really would be one in the eye for all those who have had a go at Middleditch over his selections,it will be us and the Aussies who compete to make saturdays Final with Austrailia coming out on top just, with Latvia in third and the USA in fourth.I think Latvia will get an awful lot close to Team GB and Austrailia than some think. Starman2006
It really would be one in the eye for all those who have had a go at Middleditch over his selections Certainly would be. But we are not so lucky..
Jacob Freeman
bridger is too twtichy for the continental tracks. at least king can ride the bike smoothly I think he is too much of an aggressive rider for the smaller tracks, so I could see a big track suiting his style better. I have faith in him doing well tonight!

Any success tonight and at the weekend would be in spite of Middleditch, not because of Middleditch. Awful selections on Monday, and man motivation skills 'seemed' to be lacking. Although I accept I can't see eveyrthing that goes on, hence why I put 'seemed'.
