Boobs
1) Why is there a question here? As in soccer's World Cup, rugby's World Cup and any number of other sports, the host nation is always seeded into the finals. 2) One question which remains is, as long as the Belle Vue pipedream remains just that, where in Britain could a WTC Final be staged? Of the currently-approved FIM circuits (am I right in saying there are only four?) which has the biggest capacity?

The host nation is seeded into the competition, not straight thro' to the final, FFS. BSI are interested in money and will do what ever gets bums on seats. Didnt work here as place looked less than half full. ISN'T that the point of a commercial operation? I'm in business as are lots of other members of this forum and I'm sure that we would all confer in the premise that 'if I'm not fullfilling my quota i ask the customer what he wants that I'm not offering'. Why don't BSI do this instead of persevering with their seemingly 'that's on offer take it or leave it' attitude.
SCB
But there was a temp stand built on turns 3-4 for the 2004 competition so crowd could exceed that capacity. Assume that the management applied for temp capacity increase to suit or just kept taking the money until there was no one left outside but there were more likely 6000 there for the final. Don't think that the council have a bloke outside with a clicker so pack 'em in. btw SCB where did you get that figure? There probably is a limit imposed based on toilet facilities or something but Poole stadium can actually hold up to 8000 Fair enough on the temp stands. That would have probably increased capacity. It's what the club/stadium announced after people couldn't get into the 2010 play-offs. I'll try and google the article now, it was in your local paper. edit > Took me all of 30 second! http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/districts/poole/8437263.Speedway_stadium_chiefs_explain__fiasco__over_tickets_for_final/ Edited July 23, 2013 by SCB

I can't think of any sport that seeds the hosts to the final stage of the competition. Seeded as one of the last four. Can you? Football and Rugby don't do that at all. I would have thought that Peterborough had the best possibilities with all the room for temporary stands of almost any size they needed. But being realistic I can't really say that a stadium 'capacity' would even be tested Peterborough 02. Poole 04. Reading 06. Did the 'House Full' signs go up?
