Alan_Jones
Simon Lambert suffered cuts and bruises last night and won't be fit for tonight's match. Ben Morley rides in his place. http://ryehouserocke....php?extend.
westhamboy66
Can't be there tonight as i am in Marmande for the Longtrack, gutted to miss this one as the last couple of nights performances could just be what is needed to give us an unlikely win, reserves berths seem to be the key and i have been impressed with Ben Morley at Kent, get him on better equipment and he may soon be ready for another go at PL. Fingers crossed that we can get a lead and finally hold it til the end

SCOTLAND1314
The Monarchs retain their unbeaten away run. Sounds an interesting 'gate' performance tonight.

BossMan
Good meeting spoilt by an over zealous referee and the time it took. Heat 15 was farcical and I wasn’t even aware that 2 riders could go off 15 meters. There was 25 minutes from the end of heat 14 to the end of heat 15? After the recent incidents at Rye they managed to race 14 heats in 1hour 10 minutes, last night it took 2 hours 15 minutes. Speedway is killing itself and they need to stop all this “gardening” at the gates and going back to the pits every time there is an unsatisfactory start. Rockets
This meeting is for me what speedway is about. Good hard racing and plenty of incidents. Cook when not breaking the tapes was in a class of his own and young Fricke looks a terrific prospect . Rockets very unlucky though not to win with nelson well in front before suffering a puncture and Anders on a easy 5-1 before what looked like his cut out coming loose. Good banter with the travelling fans. They did their club proud.

If Cookie hadn't have broken the tapes 3times, he'd not have been beaten the form he was in, which would've meant the opening race wouldn't have been a 5-1, his 15mtr races wouldn't have been 4-2 or 3-3... Swings and roundabouts really... Think a draw was a fair result though it's one of those meetings that could've easily swung to a 3pt home win or a 4pt away win in the matter of a couple of races really... If he pulls that stunt tonight he'll be villain of the year. Edited July 15, 2013 by Shadders
Lord Skid
Good to see a ref actually applying the rules, apparently he had silencers and carbs checked before the Meeting, as well as making sure the starts were legal as well, seems like he's only got fuel, engine size and drugs to check and he's got a full house.

He didn't stop Tyson Nelson from preparing the gate for Anders Mellgren before heat 15. The Monarchs around us were going nuts! Good to see a ref actually applying the rules... seems like he's only got fuel, engine size and drugs to check and he's got a full house. Is that why Cookie arrived late?
