blueherb777
Well last time it was 42-48.Brandford was Guest and scored 10 points.Baseby,Bates,Armstrong and Halsey will all score well.Boxall is on fire and Compton,Morley will also score well. The big question is will Kent,s lower order score enough to give Kent first ever competitive victory?Got the look of a close meeting.

It only wants a problem to affect Boxall and Compton and Kings will struggle. But the signs are they will run Mildenhall close - even win. And with such wonderful sunny weather there should be a very big crowd to encourage them the Kings could scrape home by four points for a win. waco
Well those changes certainly make a difference Nielsen is the stand out rider for the fen tigers lets hope the 4 taking his rides are not all firing..I feel with the new averages coming in shortly there may be future changes to the team if the total points have fallen..Good luck to all the riders today and lets hope its a good match ,,front of another decent turnout ... greyhoundp
Thanks Adam ,another great night for me , keep it up !! I presume he rejected your advances again, you went pretty quiet for a few weeks, now you are back with your snide comments, JTW there is some woodwork close to where you live, do us all a favour, and climb back into it. This meeting wasn't only lost at reserve, take a look at the Heat leaders scores.
gammy73
Yes u cant solely blame Adam for 2nite? But boy wats happened to him? 1st meeting ive been to for 4 weeks and cudnt believe how he looked? IM hoping its just his confidence that's been knocked after his injury cos hes a far better rider than he showed 2nite? A few disappointments for me 2nite! Firstly was a bad nite for both benji and ben so really had no chance of getting a result! Also, im sorry but i never usually criticise any of the lads on here, but Connor Coles has taken a big step backwards in my view? Was starting to improve but 2nite looked way of the pace and very nervy? Not quite sure wats happened to him but not good at all? Sam Woods looked poor at the start but improved in his last 2 rides. As for Steve! Well just a purr class act and a privilege to watch him go round the place! How much lower can he get the track record in the coming weeks? Was disappointing result 2nite but just one of those nites. Gotta say well done to Jon Armstrong too in lowering Steve's colours in ht15! Race of the nite! Â Sorry i forgot to mention Jack Kingston!! Was prob the highlight of evening? Looked really good and well on pace every race and battled every race! Very encouraging indeed and a credit to him for coming back from the nasty injury he had and showing wat he cud b capable of!
jim the whipper
??????? How did Sam Improve in his last 2 rides ? would that be by beating Danno Verge twice in two 3 rider races ? agree Kingston did well though
waco
A pretty poor performance even by their standards from the Kings tonight,,( brilliant at this level consistently ,,Steve Boxall is excepted from any critcisum ) ..Benji and Ben had uncharicturistic falls that restricted their scoring but neither were at their best on a very slick track that was cutting up badly where i was working on it ...You could say its the same for everyone ,,and the Fen Tigers got stuck into it,, and with a weakend side were worthy winners,,, ..True, but i do feel most of our lads can actually perform better at other tracks. when i have seen them... One very good ride from Jack Kingston ,,who still throws points away, but an overall more consistent showing from him..Sam Woods chipped in with a couple of usefull 2nd places.... Adam and Conner both had nights to forget ,,and i feel when the averages come in shortly ,and if we have points to play with at least one change will be made ,,but its any ones guess where the axe might fall The next new few meetings it will be important for most of these lads to up their game.. For the Tigers Jon Armstrong was outstanding climaxing with a victory over Steve in heat 15 ..And young Josh Bates has a lot of style and dash about him that says to me he has the makings of a very good rider in the future... cityrebel
a poor meeting last night raced on a poor track. too many delays, no grading or watering of the circuit didn't help. is it just me or are things starting to feel a little flat at central park. give the riders a decent surface to race on and the sport might have a future at this excellent stadium.

Poor track? How can a rider do TWO track records on a poor track. And on a poor track, surely riders would be falling off/having trouble etc/did not see Boxall or Mildenhall riders having much trouble. The real problems for Kent was that Morley/Compton had off nights.Coles/Woods cannot perform well enough in main body of team.Kirby seems to have gone backwards for some reason, but Kingston showed what he can do in Heat 8-beating Baseby and performed well after his injury. And I thought the crowd stuck with the team and are very enthusiastic. waco
The track is never very good on the inside out to the middle it is down to the chalk base in no time , with ruts and holes appearing and Steve rides out in the dirt where it is smoother, quicker .so his personal line around the track is good and fast. and he is different class anyway...Unfortunatly no one else in the team seems to want to follow Steves excellent example, of the only way to ride the place.. cityrebel
boxall is a very fast rider at NL level, probably the best in the league. so it was no suprise that he broke the track record on his home circuit. if you consider a track that is down to the chalk base after only a few heats as being in 'good condition', then we will have to disagree. All I said was it was not poor. From Steve`s(Boxall)programme notes he has been helping with the track. They put on 20 tonnes last week and it will take time to bed in and we all know there is still a lot of work to be done. Â I fail to see why when responding to comments by JTW that it has to be treated in a personal way? The art of debate is to stick to the actual subject which, it appears, is that JTW does not have a very high estimation of Adam Kirby as a rider - I cannot see anywhere that he has deviated from commenting on how he regards Kirby's riding talent and ability? When you begin insulting other posters you have lost the argument/debate and consequently it makes your own remark lose any of its possible validity.
