Grachan
I remember a pre-season phone-in on Witlshire Radio. Guest on it was Matt Ford, who, when questioned about the TR said that Ipswich wanted it introduced and said they would drop down a league if it wasn't. So it was introduced. And where are Ipswich now?
BWitcher
Ahhh - BUT - it would have been the CORRECT Result. No, the correct result was 49-42 to Wolverhampton as per the rules of the sport.
stratton
No they haven't. Only you and GRW, when you've been wrong about something. You're wrong here. Ask your promoter if you don't believe me. GR is not the type to worry if he is right or wrong, neither am i who says who is right or wrong is it gospel it is called debate OPINIONS.Maybe you are right who cares you have a big problem is everything about being right? can you not take anything from anyone else's opinions and learn anything along the line. The worrying thing for you is you don't even realise you are doing it.!! What ? it is fact that the rule changed because of the cost ..why on every topic do you start name calling rather than sticking to the debate ? Debate is that what you and Witcher do,i don't see much evidence of that.

This is your problem Sidney, you don't understand the difference between an opinion and a fact. They are two totally different things. Again here a question was asked why the rule was changed. The answer has been given. It is Fact. Its been told to you by a number of different sources, but you refuse to accept it and are trying to bring 'opinion' into it. That's the difference. Its not something to have an opinion on. The rule was changed due to cost. FACT. Edited July 9, 2013 by BWitcher

BWitcher
Sidney, you're a good lad, you have great knowledge of riders of yesteryear as well as the present and at times make some great interesting posts.. However, this pattern repeats itself over and over, you get all worked up when someone corrects you, fly into your rage about opinions before descending into the personal abuse. Chill out. You've got a cracking match Thursday night to look forward too that the weather is set fair for!

oldace
You are right! are you happy? It is like having an opinion that 2 + 2 = 5. It is wrong, totally wrong and provable so. It would make me look foolish if I kept banging on that it is all about opinion whenever anyone tried to put me straight on it would it not

The White Knight
This seems to have been going on for ages. Come on guys - it's our Forum - it's supposed to be FUN - no need for personal attacks. I have to remember that myself at times.

f-s-p
I guess this is as good of a thread as any... It says in Spar (dated August 31st page 17) that Debbie Hancock has laid it on the line for Somerset fans... buy an air-fence... this issue will not go away... no u-turn from BSPA/ACU as it is an FIM requirement. (Sorry, my keyboard is acting up again) But it's not an FIM requirement is it, there was a report earlier and it stated that BSPA/ACU sort made their own conclusions on the new FIM requirement for FIM events that an airfence or similar would become mandatory. Because if such a requirement is actually also to national level meetings for next year, track racing will die in Finland on January 1st before the last fireworks are even lit. So what am I missing, what story in between has escaped me...
Eduds1
Whilst the tac sub rule now can add a possible 6 points to a teams score (why not restrict this to away teams only) what p's me off more is a reserve having 7 rides every meeting they are a reserve and scoring God knows how many points and at times replacing heat leaders. I know this could be put down to good team building but why not restrict reserves to there programmed rides and any as cover fo an injured rider not one out of form as it was intentioned. Team mangers have bugger all to do anyway, let them use their reserve to their advantage. As you say, its just good team building.
