Haza
Hope it's a great meeting and it gets lots of support ,was thinking of coming but 8pm start on a Sunday has put me right off the idea what's wrong with a 3pm start say I,m sure more would attend . Maybe there is a reason for the late start ?

Panthers89
So Hans has gone from Peterborough to Russia then all the way back to Birmingham in the space of 2 and a bit days, and he is blaming his bad performances on being tired.... I wonder why. Edited August 11, 2013 by Panthers89
crazysue
Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? Brummie Boy
So Hans has gone from Peterborough to Russia then all the way back to Birmingham in the space of 2 and a bit days, and he is blaming his bad performances on being tired.... I wonder why. Just shows what a massive effort he is making to support a fellow rider's testamonial. On occasion Hans gets undeservedly bad press, but he's earned a big round of applause for doing this for Danny.
Mini Jack
Admission prices have been set at the same as Birmingham meetings, with Adults £16, Concessions £12, Juniors (14-17) £5 and Under 13s free. However, season ticket holders from each of the four teams represented will be able to take advantage of a special offer giving them £2 discount on those prices. In order to take advantage of this promotion, supporters must bring their 2013 season ticket along with photo ID and pass through the main foyer entrance at Perry Barr rather than the turnstiles. Come on you speedway fans, get yourselves over to Perr Barr to give Danny a great Testimonial for what should be a great evening.
Brummie Kev
Hope it's a great meeting and it gets lots of support ,was thinking of coming but 8pm start on a Sunday has put me right off the idea what's wrong with a 3pm start say I,m sure more would attend . Maybe there is a reason for the late start ? I wondered myself at first why it was so late. I know there are greyhounds on Sunday Afternoons, but it was from about 11-3ish a few years back with Brummies meetings starting around 5/6pm. It seems to have changed now, as last greyhound race is 17.46pm tonight. Still I hope Danny has a great day, and a good turnout. I am 3 miles from track and Danny really couldn't have wished for a better day weather wise, absolutely gloriously sunny with plenty of blue sky. Brummie Kev
Very Enjoyable night, absolute respect for all the riders for giving it 100% like it was a league meeting and some of the best racing seen at Perry Barr this year, much better than last week. Hilarious when Bridger, Watt, Batchelor ? and Roynon came out in their boxers/jocks and had a race. I really didnt expect it and neither did many around me on the main straight judging by their faces!! Also good to see Chris Louis and Sudden Sam in their match races, Louis won it when Sams chain came off in the decider, but I thought Sam looked much the better. Pete Adams should get on the phone to him!! Bomber looked good, quick on the track and didnt look to have an problems with his collerbone.
