Well suprise suprise TeamGB don't win and the usual anti Poole/Middlo brigadse are out in force as usual.

Did anyone actually think we could challenge Denmark last night? Add to that the most diabolically prepared track at Kings Lynn and it was game over. Terrible meeting for the crowd that bothered to turn up and no passion from the crowd once the Danes had silenced it.

Nicholls didn't seem injured to me so what excuse has he got for not riding? Hang your head in shame when your country needs you!

Cook and Kennett both tried but both are our of their depth at this level. Nicholls in place of Kennett still wouldn't have won us the meeting but we would have been a little closer.

Rubbish meeting, terrible track prep and time to take it elsewhere next year. Take it to a track where Team GB excel and the opposition don't.

The only tracks where a GB team of Woffinden, Harris, Cook and say King would excel would be Wolverhampton or perversely Belle Vue, the Danes don't go well round there at all!!

How is it an Anti-Poole thing?

I'm not anti Middlo, I'm anti the system which restricts our countries chances of producing world class riders.

However, I think the selection of Eddie was flawed and the person(s) who made the decision should accept responsibility.

I can see Nicholls point of view regarding the situation preventing him riding in the European Championships, especially now Tai is riding in them. Sums up the whole mess the sport is in domestically.

Time to take it to a track where you have an adequate car park for a start, and where your not asking people to park in a field just across from the Norfolk Arena.

while I agree with most that Eddie should not have been selected given his current form it was pretty poor to drop him after 1 ride then take him out again later in the meeting Cook was no better.Gb were never going to win the meeting but were never going to not qualify so Eddie should have been given opportunity to at least take his rides.Poor management skills all round.Dont think there was much wrong with the track just a poor quality of riders (apart from the Danes and Tai)made it a poor meeting. Harris always seem to be happy with his performances these days !!!!!!

You won't in a million years get a Poole fan to admit Middlo is poor as Gb boss. The whole speedway family knew Kennett shouldn't have been there. Team managers need to get the best 4 riders out there it's his job

nobody is saying we would beat the Danes! What everybody except Poole fans are saying is the management wether it was Middlo or Morris got it badly badly wrong in picking Kennett something you agree with. Middlo is a nice guy and a good manager but if he can't get simple choices right maybe his time is up. Get Rosco in with Havvy

We certainly had no home advantage, Kings Lynn was made for the danish riders, Niels rides there, Pedersen used to ride there and at one time held the track record, Bjerre always goes well there and the last time MJJ rode there he got 17!!.

Name a track that we would have beat that Danish Team on. Edited by Fromafar

Well bit of a boreing meeting i thought. Kennett was dire as he has been every time i saw him this year. Cook tried hard but needs better equipment maybe at this level. USA apart from Hancock not much good either.

Lets hope race off and final better :D

Nice to see they found a use for all those old Rubix cubes for the gate selection at the end

and you being a Poole fan would defiantly no about poor track prep you only have to look at the last time your team raced at home live on Sky no dirt on the track and dry as a bone so I think that's good coming from a Poole fan moaning about the NA track .
