I guess he had to go with Kennett as a way to stick his fingers up at the "arm chair critics". tough heat so no guarantee Harris would have done better - think it makes sense to use it next Kenneth ride. why was Tai not used as tactical joker though? skthecat Posted July 15, 2013 Report Share Posted July 15, 2013 Some of the worst racing I have seen from KL, weather will not of helped though, looks sloppy top on a rock hard base thats been baked for days in 28-31C with little or no rain........ man made watering is no match for mother nature.. Apart from that, there seems to be quite an "ability gap" between team/riders this yr with Sweden decimated through injuries, and well, who else could we have fielded that you could "nail-on" as being better than Cook and Kennett? Ok hindsight says Harris and Woffy didn't win them but there was nothing at all to worry about. Pointless waiting for Kennetts next tide as we're now out of it. I think Cook should be retained as he has to be given experience and now is as good a time as any, along with Barker would have the confidence to put himself about.
