Swc, Event Two, King's Lynn 15/7

Recommended Posts

HOPEFULLY Australia, Denmark and Poland will get to the Final and make that a reasonable contest despite the presence of the Czech Republic but you are right, difficult to get too excited this year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see BSI and the FIM getting their heads together for a World Pairs event, maybe alternating with the SWC on an annual basis.

Lindgren is now out of the SWC and Karlsson a doubt. Sweden have been very unlucky

From what I have read, the team will be:

Daniel Nermark

Jonas Davidsson

Peter Ljung

Dennis Andersson

+ one reserve

COIULD the USA ###### a place in the Race-off against that Swedish team?

NOT sure where those hashes came from ... should have read ######

OBVIOUSLY the word I was trying to use is taboo... try grab!

I innocently tried to use the word once on the forum which begins with "sn" and got xd out also  I also remember saying to my girlfriend in the early 60s as we came home from seeing the Bees GRAB a last heat victory that i felt really happy and gay about the result !!! Changing times indeed. Regards. Alan.

Surely even Kennett will be good enough to get points in this meeting now?

And now Middlo will claim he was right. Well no, because Worrall could beat all the Swedes and all but Hancock from America too.

I can now see Team GB sneaking a bronze at this rate. Denmark and Poland straight to final. Team GB to beat Aussies for the last final spot, then beating Czechs in the final....

Worrall is over rated, If he's so good then why does he have no polish or Swedish club.

Worrall races on a sunday for Newcastle,so that would rule out Poland for this season at least.

You`d like to think so wouldnt you.

So Worrall would ride in the Premier League rather than in Poland.

That sums up why British Speedway is not moving forward when most of the riders are stuck in the Premier League and not looking for Polish/Swedish rides.. Look at the Latvian Lebedev for example.

He rang up every single club in the UK asking for a team spot... That's the sort of mentality that the Brits need.

Whatever your politics.

You have to admit.

Mr Gove is certainly up against it with raw material like this
