Swc, Event Two, King's Lynn 15/7

Recommended Posts

Whatever the rights and gripes about ticket prices here there and everywhere, the KL event has to be decent value for money if you choose to stand (as the vast majority do) and buy in advance.

Received our tickets in the post yesterday, 2x adults and 2 x 15 years old or under, packaged up into a family ticket for £35. This has be booked before the end of the June.

We have always attended the KL event and really enjoyed it. Good crowd, well prepared track and some exciting racing.

So still a joke then!

Could you imagine if in the fottball world cup a team that was 3 goals down could have it's next goal score 2?

Niamh

Be daft wouldn't it. Imagine for instance in a home and away Champions League game where one leg has resulted in a 1 all draw and the next leg had the home team winning 2/1 with a minute to go, could you imagine saying to the away team "if you score another goal to draw level at 3 goals each we will let you win. It would be a farce wouldn't it

And limited over cricket surely they wouldn`t have any truck with " powerplay`s ".

So Middlo plays it safe yet again  .

We ain't gonna win this year or the next cos Team GB just don't have enough top class riders, but if we don't give the young ones a go now it will be even longer before we look like winning. Shouldn't have been Tai and 3 yougsters.

But no, we get Harris (another poor season and wasn't that convicing at the N/A last week) and Steady Eddie (who'll score a few points, but has never really shown the ability to turn into a top class international).

At least Craig Cook is in but Middlo should have chosen a couple of other younger riders. Don't think Richie Worrall would have been out classed on his home track and should have been given a go...

IMO Middleditch has got the right team,Woffinden was a cert, and sadly Harris is about the best of the rest.Delighted to see Cook in the team, his scoring at both EL and PL level this season have been excellent. You couldve put virtually any other rider in as 4th choice,I wouldve gone with Barker simply because of the form he is on just now but Kennett it is.
