Elitserien 2013, Round 8, Tuesday June 25th

Recommended Posts

Elitserien 2013, Round 8, Tuesday June 25th, 19.10 CEST.

Last week's round meant that we've already completed half of the season.

So now there is 1p extra at stake for the teams.

Live scores at: http://www.svemo.se/speedway http://www.score24.c...tyles/sr_v5.css

Live radio: http://sverigesradio...?programid=3756

Ikaros Smederna (39) - Piraterna (51)

#tv meeting#

race card for this meeting: http://www.mediafire...a-Piraterna.pdf

Ikaros Smederna

  1. Andreas Jonsson
  2. Magnus Zetterström
  3. Peter Karlsson
  4. Krzysztof Buczkowski
  5. Kenni Larsen
  6. Szymon Wozniak
  7. Oliver Berntzon

Piraterna

  1. Przemyslaw Pawlicki
  2. Linus Sundström R/R
  3. Greg Hancock
  4. Jonas Davidsson
  5. Chris Holder
  6. Anton Rosén
  7. Fredrik Engman

Ikaros Smederna unfortunately have to manage without Grigorij Laguta who are occupied with a meeting in Vladivlostok.

I think this means that it will be a bit too tough for Smederna as Laguta is the only who have been consistent 10p+ scorer (except for the first meeting).

Zorro rode very well from reserve last week while the rest of the team (minus Laguta) did not reach their full capacity.

So I predict that Piraterna will win with 6-8p.

Vargarna (43) - Elit Vetlanda (47)

Vargarna:

  1. Scott Nicholls
  2. Tomasz Gapinski
  3. Peter Kildemand
  4. Anders Mellgren
  5. Nicki Pedersen
  6. Kim Nilsson
  7. Pontus Aspgren

Elit Vetlanda:

  1. Martin Vaculik
  2. David Ruud
  3. Jaroslaw Hampel
  4. Ricky Kling
  5. Thomas H Jonasson
  6. Jacob Thorssell
  7. Mikkel B Jensen

Battle of then bottom, Vargarna is currently in last place with only one win, while Vetlanda is in 6th place

with 2 wins and one draw. Vargarna needs to win if they want to stay in the play off race.

Miedzinski is still out due to his concussion and uncontiousness a few weeks ago.

Indianerna (37) - Västervik (53)

Indianerna

  1. Rune Holta
  2. Joonas Kylmäkorpi
  3. Piotr Protasiewicz
  4. Antonio Lindbäck
  5. Niels Kristian Iversen
  6. Krzysztof Jablonski
  7. Mathias Thörnblom

Västervik

  1. Daniel Nermark R/R
  2. Tomasz Jedrzejak
  3. Peter Ljung
  4. Hans Andersen
  5. Troy Batchelor
  6. Ludvig Lindgren
  7. Tobiasz Musielak

For Indianerna Baslinski is out and Jablonski is in.

Indianerna seem to have some sort of disagreement with Emil S, for the meeting two weeks ago, Emil requested to

be excused so Dalle, team manager at Indianerna, brought in Rune Holta.Holta did pretty well so Dalle thought

that Rune deserved to ride last week as well (which I agree with).

Apparently Emil or perhaps Emils manager did ot approve of that so Emils manager have stopped Emil from

riding for Indianerna. However Dalle have told Emil's manager that Emil's prescense if required on Tuesday so we'll see what happens.

Me thinks that a rider regardless who he is should be able to accept that he sometimes won't be

picked if his results while riding for the haven't been particular good.

Secondly he needs to find himself a better manager.

Dackarna (52) - Hammarby (38)

Dackarna

  1. Patryk Dudek
  2. Darcy Ward
  3. Michael Jepsen Jensen
  4. Mikkel Michelsen
  5. Fredrik Lindgren
  6. Dennis Andersson
  7. Joel Larsson

Hammarby

  1. Gregorz Walasek
  2. Robin Aspegren
  3. Leon Madsen
  4. Mikael Max
  5. Rafal Okoniewski
  6. Andrej Karpov
  7. Sebastian Aldén

Darcy Ward is back in Dackarna after being out with an injury for a couple of weeks.

Hammarby replaces Loktajev and Artem Laguta with Madsen and Okoniewski.

TV meeting racecard AVAILABLE NOW FREE

MiniMax Racecard Elitserien Ikaros Smederna Vs Piraterna Tuesday, 25th, June, 2013

In view of the commotion surrounding Przemyslaw Pawlicki's day on/day off riding schedule it may be worth pointing out the standard suggestion to hold back downloading until we can be sure of the line-up. However, having said that i've yet to see any official club or news sources saying he won't be riding, we'll see what tomorrow brings i guess.

The Elitserien racecard is initially available with the officially announced provisional line-ups. I will then check for any changes shortly before the match commences and make any amendments accordingly. It's your choice as to whether you wish to print out on the provisional line-ups or wait.

I hope Ward isn't coming back too soon.

Don't worry he avoided racing on Monday taking steps to ensure his well being according to his recent Twitter "Well if I ride for Poole this year belle vue out of way". Apparently his practices went ok. "Another practice and was good. Can't wait to race but gotta be smart about it !"

Linus out after crash in Czestochowa. Who is in?

If he does not ride, they have to put in another Swedish rider. I don't think R/R would work since there

are 4 riders with a higher average then Linus. Then one of his heats would be empty. I am not sure though.

There also seems to be uncertain if Prz Pawlicki will ride.

THJ, Shamek, Leon. All 3 ready to ride?

4th Swedish rider? Why? They already have JD, Engman and Rosen in declared team. I believe they can simply use Piotr Pawlicki or Magic in place of Linus. Can't they?

Yeah you're right, I forgot about Engman. ;) We'll see then. I have had a look around and there is no info available yet.

I think THJ will ride otherwise they wouldn't have put him at nr5.

On the Piraterna site Google Translate offers up;

"Linus injured in Poland last night, Stefan Andersson announces Navicular broken, Linus is bandaged and will be out for 5 weeks. Ahead of today's match we drive Riders of Linus.

Does that likely mean Rider Replacement? (hmmmm or they are searching for a replacement lol)

It is R/R but the thing is that R/R goes by floating average and Linus only have the 5th highest average

which means that they only have three heats to use R/R for him. Only Rosén, Engman and Davidsson can be used.

Possibly its allowed to use a reserve twice but I am far from certain about that.

The single most important question facing the world today  is where, on the terraces Ghostwalker and his dad will be standing and will they give us a wave ? :t:

Enjoy the meeting and "Go Smederna". Alan.

Alan you won't see many people standing. Most people are sitting. ;)

Very civilised  Where will you be?

Really nice Polish stream. (Same feed and improve your Polish language skills for Sundays  )

Second question now that the visitors have lost Linus Sundstrom and have poor rider replacement options is will Ghostwalker revise his pessimistic forecast :)

So I predict that Piraterna will win with 6-8p.

Why doesn't Dave G just shut up for a while and let the riders get sorted out.

Presumably because there would be a lot more complaints if a commentator left us in silence. You not still got a headache from your (albeit entertaining) Iron Maiden decibel attack in Germany have you Pandorum lol.

It does look a very respectable crowd too.

I think the track has changed somewhat since Jonas Davidsson last rode for Smederna, but if he fires well tonight then with Holder and Hancock in the team the hosts have a lot to do.

It will be a packed house tomorrow. Or at least that's how poor old Nige sees a couple of hundred people :)

Lol

Funny you should mention but yes :):)

The man babbles about bugger all and does not seem to know that sometimes silence speaks volumes. :)
