Skodaman
It is called being sarcastic after the rumours you hear on here of YH taking team talks (which i know for a fact a few weeks ago she did speak to the riders before a match) There is a difference between talking to the riders and giving a team talk! skthecat
As this is the Edinburgh v Leicester thread, any chance of a discussion with just maybe an iota of this up and coming meeting at the threads heart? You know, whos riding, potential results etc.... instead of this incessant attack on the promoter and wife? Make a change to read some speedway racing stuff, you know what I mean? lionking
This was a team talk all the riders in the pits she sat them down spoke to riders about the match how important it was to make the gate & track conditions. This came from 1 of the riders who isn't scared to air his views There is a difference between talking to the riders and giving a team talk! So explain what the difference is between the promotor and the team manager talking to the riders ? Edited June 27, 2013 by robert72

TheScotsman
Ah well clearly my last post has went unnoticed..... Yep - pity it all spilled over from their other thread(s)!! Personally I am concerned about having Tommy F. at reserve. If Max runs into machine problems or anything we could really struggle.

If Max runs into machine problems or anything we could really struggle. It's a brave move and one I admire actually giving a young local boy the chance to see how far of the PL pace he is... However, the other thing that's gone un-noticed is the switch to move Claus back to #5 so to give Theo a breather at #3 with the hopeful protection of Joe beside him in 3 of the 4 races... If Claus has a return to his form pre-Workington, we could struggle here as I don't see Leicester being weakened by the Bjerre being away... Could be a toughie if one of the top 5 aren' on song... Eventually a post about the meeting! As long as everybody puts in a solid performance like last week we should have no problems, if not it could be a lot closer than we would like. If yo read my post again it actually says if you want which is giving you a choice but me personally would prefer to talk about the match tomorrow rather than read or talk about your promotion as it has it's own thread so why not post your views there instead of in a topic which has nothing to do with it. cyclone
Apart from the likelihood that the only points Fenwick will pick up is at the expense of non finishers, there are the ongoing fitness issues with Pijper (broken ribs) and Tabaka (returning from a broken right foot ?). For Leicester, Bjerre is well covered by r/r with Nieminen, Karlsson, and Doolan, more than compensating for his absence. The uncertainty in the Lions camp appears to be whether Edberg will ride, and if so, how fit he will be. There are usually a few genuine Lions Supporters who appear at Armadale for this fixture and are always welcome.
TheScotsman
It's a brave move and one I admire actually giving a young local boy the chance to see how far of the PL pace he is... I don't think a 2012 NL average of a little over 3 and a 2013 NL average of 2.44 is likely to trouble many in the PL. I would also be a bit concerned for his safety. But probably a cost-effective move (though very cost-ineffective if there are problems elsewhere in the team [Max in particular]).
MiddleRubberBruver
A routine win for the Monarchs but think the Lions may just nick a point or 2 if things go well for them. Hope Edbeg is fit for tomorrow but if not does anyone know who could come in for him?
lionking
Take a look at the amount of fixtures taking place tomorrow i believe 8 of the 13 teams are in action. Add that to the facf Davey's average is not the highest everything is against you finding a decent guest. So i think its more a case of who is willing to travel & ride with not much chance of earning much profit. Rather then a cost saving exercise. We have the same problem if Edberg decides he is not riding the best i could find who was availble was Adam Ellis . It would fit his race schedule as he is in a northern tour with Ipswich from sat. How do spot a genuine one and how do you act towards those non genuine ones? With Dyer and Ellis in i think we may well have a sniff. Narrow defeat and a point for the mighty Lions at worst. Anything worse and i think we need Hemsley to have a word their shell like. Edited June 27, 2013 by volty
