After taking the advantage in heat 2 the Knights were left to ruing their luck when an engine failure for Adam Sheppard and fall for Niall Strudwick allowed to Invaders to claim all five points in heat 3. Heat 4 was eventually settled on the third time of asking after Danno Verge and Cameron Hoskins both started off 15 metres for tapes infringements, with Verge coming from behind to follow Conor Dwyer home for maximum points.
