moosetash64
Â breaking down has been replaced with non-starting , although it's the same thing really , one swallow does not a summer make , watch this space for further reports on falls . There you go again showing just how much you actually know, which is **** all, as it wasn't Adams fault why he missed the 2 mins. Before you say anymore, yes i do know this for a fact as i was in the pits.I still say your a sad, lonely, pathetic creature who gets a sexual kick out of slating young riders. I bet you havn't even got the balls to get on a speedway bike and race 3 other riders.
Wessex Wanderer
My first visit to Central Park and what an impressive stadium it is. Good crowd too - the 6.30 start time does not seem any sort of deterrent. Pity the track was a bit slick but there was enough in the racing to expect a real racing track once that is sorted. Â Team wise the Kings have a great top two and some decent youngsters although they could probably do with another middle type scorer (Brendon Johnson?). The kids just need a bit of time and patience and from the people around me the crowd seems willing to give them both. Real refreshing attitude that. Â The Islanders were mainly what I expected and will surely be contenders in all NL events this year. Slight exception was Tom Perry who seems to have taken a step back. Still, it often happens that young riders have a temporary slump in form and in the main they recover from it. Â Overall I enjoyed my visit. Everything about the Kent Kings organisation is a very welcome addition to the Speedway family. Â :)

Whose fault was it then ? because as far as I'm aware when a rider fails to be proceeding towards the tapes under power and by the shortest practical route , they get excluded for breaking the 2 minute allowance , . although in this instance ,since you have said you were in the pits I assume the failure to make the 2 minutes will have been down to your incompetence

Your jumping to conclusions again as to who people are. The other week you thought i was Adam and now you think i'm his mechanic. If not being able to sort out a puncture by changing the wheel and gearing, as it had a different sprocket on so either the chain had to be altered or sprocket changed, comes under incompetence to you then yes i guess his mechanic was at fault. Lets hang him for it.

P T Preece
My first visit to see the kent kings, long trip down from Brumm, but what a fantastic place views alround no posts or lights to get in the way, nice clean seats to sit on, some standing areas, puts a lot of the EL and PL clubs to shame. As we travelled from The midlands the start time was ideal didnt get home too late, well run meeting and some good work from the Ref. Track staff worked hard with the shale they could find, the lad on the first bend did a great job. Had the bonus of the Bronze helmet race as well, do like tracks to have curfews it means they have to get on with it. If your down that way well worth a visit, just needs a little more shale. Hope to be back soon.
greyhoundp
Just to give you guys down in Kent a heads up, Just seen a very much improved Michael Neale ride as a guest for Mildenhall at Dudley, he must be one if not the best unattached rider around at the moment, 2 good 2nd places, in his other race he was lying in a comfortable 3rd, when he lost it on the 2nd bend 3rd lap, he would undoutably improve your bottom end, and he is only 16 or 17..Appologies for posting this twice, but I wanted someone from Kent to read it. Lets hang him for it. I am probably wasting my time posting this but I don't think jim the whipper has any clue on the difficulties riders and mechanics have at Kent. Kent are operating under a strict curfew and push the meeting on as fast as they can which means riders are lined up to go out as soon as the previous race has finished. When I was there, 15 races were completed in about 70 minutes which is really motoring. Whether it needs to be as fast as that is another matter but who knows what might hapen in subsequent heats. The other issue is that the pits are quite divorced from the track being up and over a banking and set well back which means that communication between staff/managment in the pits and those directing events on the track is virtually impossible. I don't know the exact circumstances here but maybe an impromptu quick track grade would have given more time for Adam and his crew to complete the work that was required. That is good news about Michael's riding last night. He may well have lined up for Buxton this year but chose instead to concentrate on his college studies. Because there has been no pressure on him, he seems to have improved a lot, particularly with his riding for the BV Colts in the MDL, and other teams that have needed his services. I think that he is also joint leader in the U16 championship at the moment.

I'm afraid with dim the whinger u are banging your head against a brick wall Martin. He appears to have a major gripe towards Adam as he is always making snide remarks at him and me. Maybe its someone Adam knows and they are just using an alias because they haven't got the balls to say anything to his face. It could even be someone Adam has ridden against and beaten on a regular basis so is jealous that he is doing ok in the national league. Halifaxtiger
 I am probably wasting my time posting this but I don't think jim the whipper has any clue  I think that would have been enough.  To be honest, I ignore him now. Its quite clear he has a major axe to grind and such people's comments are not worth reading and certainly not worth responding to.

I agree with everything you say except about the Ref, who I thought made some dubious decisions. Â Firstly, he let heat 15 run when the IOW rider in white got a flier! Should have been restarted. And in an earlier heat (can't remember which one) when Connor Coles came off the race was allowed to run for the full 4 laps although the safety fenced had been knocked down! Â Definitely be back tho
