rustyre bel1
Looking forward to this one 2 teams on top form at the moment man for man not a lot to choose between them wouldn't surprise me if this would be the 2 teams fighting it out in the the final for the title
Chewbacca
The Diamonds are carrying two riders at the moment. I expect a comfortable 50-40 for the Rebels and they will be taking on the Monarchs in the playoff final (although Newcastle may win the league again).
drew2
Will it be a replacement or guest for Stefan i wonder? Been scoring some useful points of late for the Rebels and will be missed. Have read elsewhere that it is 4-6 weeks out for a broken collarbone. Can't even have Lewis Kerr to guest on Friday can we!!

Cliffeboy
Only a National League guest can be used, weakens the Rebels considerably as Tom only just back. Could the Rebels use "Boxall", would they want to....., not sure how the averages pan out at this level ? Could the Rebels use "Boxall", would they want to....., not sure how the averages pan out at this level ? Nope…to put it simply they can only use a National League rider who is not doubling up with a Premier League club and would not command a Premier League average of more than 3.00. Cliffeboy
How does NL averages equate to PL ?
StevePark
How does NL averages equate to PL ? Effectively they don't. To guest as an NL rider, he can't have a PL ave above 3.00. So the likes of Steve Boxall, Jon Armstrong and the like are not allowed. Looking forward to this one, and hopefully the long drive down will be worth it (It's further than Ipswich and look what happened there!!). Fozzie4388
Be Very surprised if the Rebels dont use Lewis Rose. They seem very impressed by him at Workington the other week.
oldtimer
Bad news about Stefan and Rebels penalised by another stupid rule (god there are so many) regarding a reserve replacement. Diamonds have won away at Berwick, Ipswich, and Rye House in the League but Rebels top 4 are much stronger and normally would expect an easy win. However if all of Rebels top 4 don't perform, then the Diamonds reserve Lewis Kerr should score more than Rebels reserves,Tom Perry and the National League guest and make it a close match. Very true Oldtimer, very true. Rebels need all the points from this one. Can't afford to throw away points now.. But as some would say, thats stating the obvious.. NJC71
Yep shame for Steve as he is clearly a much better rider than we've seen this season. He has though struggled badly lately and I'm not surprised at his decision as his confidence must be low and he can't be earning much at the moment. Easy to forget it's not long since he broke his leg so hopefully the break from PL racing will do him good and he can perhaps come back to the PL before the end of the season. Chris Schramm looks a good replacement. Injuries/loss of form et al has made him available on a very low average for a rider of his ability so we have to hope he can find some form again at Brough. If he does we'll be significantly stronger.
The White Knight
Sad to hear this regarding Steve. I think he is a real talent who has totally lost confidence. Hopefully his spell out of the Team will do him good and that he will return to the 'Diamond's' rejuvenated and with more confidence.
