Glasgow Tigers V Berwick Bandits Pl 23/6/13 @3p.m.

The injustice of Bellego's registration comes back to dig us in the ribs once again, his progress seems quite spectacular, much like his scoring today. The Bandits top 4 scored all but 2 of their points, winning 10/15 heats in the process and consigning Glasgow to another home defeat. Compton looked a little nervous in his first home match but will settle no probs whereas Raun was a bit wild, regularly scraping the fence on the second turn but never lacked effort. Looked like he was going to come out and practice after the meeting. Next week's visits to Ipswich and Scunthorpe may prove 'challenging'!

Its typical, over the last month or so,that now we win 2 meetings on the bounce,so should go to Plymouth next friday looking for more away points, that we have a blank saturday next week, there was a real chance to get a bit of momentum into our season.

Well done to the Bandit's today there top 4 were very solid whilst ours were in the point's but just slightly behind the visitors in scoring power , it is still a bit off a sore point regarding Bellego and the unsavoury way thing's transpired in his departure from Glasgow but taking that aside he was Berwick's match winner today he was simply superb. When he first came over we knew right away he was a talent pity it is for Berwick he is maturing into a real talent but well done to him today he rode with plenty off skill and is the type off rider you would gladly pay to watch.

On to us it wasn't the worst performance by a long way but we just need to have some riders scoring one or two more especially at home but i am sure we will end the dismal run we are on sooner rather than later we do seem to be guilty of throwing points away at home as we did again today with Ringwood disappearing off the radar on the 4th bend whilst team riding with Grievsey but the effort he put's in should hopefully be rewarded with points soon. Our two new signing's impressed especially Compton and once he has some meeting's under his belt he should be a very solid point's scorer especially around Ashfield Raun was a bit wild but again plenty off effort another who should be ok once he has meeting's under his belt.

All in all a very enjoyable day off racing with the meeting running quickly & smoothly albeit another visiting win but not as down hearted as i have been previously as there are signs we are on the road to recovery

Once again well done the banditos

The Speedway Star pundits 2013 Wooden Spoon prediction doesn't look unrealistic either

Long way to go thankfully Rye House are on a similar losing streak but i tended to agree with the prediction that the team assembled at the start did look candidates but we have some optimism that we can at least start winning again soon.

Hmmm.... I thought we would win this won but ach well, I suppose a close meeting is better than getting yer ass whooped by other teams.

Andre had a brilliant win against Lawson and Bellego so that is encouraging. Jonas is one mental rider, it was terrifying to watch him at times but I admire his effort!
