Byker Biker
So, the rider considered to replace Simon Stead was Lewis Bridger but his average didn't fit by a very small margin.. is this a good thing or a bad thing? Interesting, where did that come from?
Charlieboy
Is that the new averages from 1st of august? Interesting to see how woodward does tonight. Whats his average ?
spin king
Where are people getting their information from, I cannot find any information about Sheffield wanting to sign Lewis Bridger, and I cannot find anything that shows new averages from the 1st August. Â One bit of news that does appear to be fact is Andre Compton has been recalled to the Sheffield side,

We wish to thank Andre for his efforts during his short spell at the club and wish him well for the remainder of this season and the future – indeed he’ll be back at Ashfield racing against us in a month’s time!  So Andre is in ... Who is out ??  Hopefully Richard Hall out and a new number 1 - Lewis Bridger fits??

Interesting I check the figures last night when the rumour about North going to Glasgow and Andre coming back to Sheffield, and you are correct we could bring in Lewis for Richard Hall.  Not too sure how I feel about that possible move I like Lewis, but he is not known for been a big track specialist, but would give us a bit of strength on the away tracks and we would have Andre at reserve. RS50
Is Hall injured. I noticed he did not ride at Rye House but not sure why.
luluthetiger
BSPA have issued the new averages, and changes in clubs' 1-7's. Â At Owlerton, it is definately a new 1-7. Richard Hall out, Andre Compton in. Edited July 25, 2013 by luluthetiger
Halifordukesfan
Be good to see Andre back, he's entertainment and that's what I pay for, as is Richard hall, so if a 1-5 rider has to make way, it has to be Joe Haines.
Adrian Brownell
just heard at tonights meeting hall has gone
OdsalBoy
bit of a bizarre one that if its true, hall's form has dipped a bit of late, due to injuries obviously. however look at how he started the season, he was in blistering form. would have preferred haines to be dropped IMO, but thats just my opinion
Steve55
just heard at tonights meeting hall has gone Looks like this is correct, Machin's notes in tonights programme were critical of Hall having "alledgely injured himself when unloading his van after last Thursdays meeting".In the pits after the meeting tonight it appears Machin sacked Hall and then became embroiled in argument with Halls father and Joel Parsons. There was a lot of finger wagging from Machin and crutch banging from Hall senior. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong! By the way Hoggy did a good job of staying out of the way! Blackadder
Lulu is correct. The new 1-7 is Stead, Roynon, Wells, Haines, Compton, Albin and Koppe, but not applicable until Sunday, so will be R/R for Hall at Leicester I guess.
Steve55
Also must add, why Lewis Bridger? Did really well tonight 4 plus a bonus point! Ok he was up against decent opposition, but as a number 1 he will be. He never looked comfortable on the track, well to be honest apart from Eastbourne I've never seen him look comfortable any where. Oh and didn't he do well in Prague for team GB. Sorry but just can't see him doing a job for the Tigers as a number one. He's got plenty of spirit and ambition, but not at Owlerton for me thanks. Charlieboy
Like to see woodward signed up,he looked well on the pace.Ricky looked well too last night and I think would have done better in last heat if he hadn't had about an hours break between heat 10 and 15.
romans lovechild
sad to see Richard go if that's the end of a long association between him and neil, he has a lot of critics on here but at the end of the day he is pure entertainment around owlerton and that is what we go for...to be entertained, good luck in your next position Richard. p.s. I am also a big fan of andre would have loved to have seen them in the side together.
psycho3a
So its now official Andre for Hall... Get in one happy bunny that the promotion have finally seen sense and got rid of Hall... Â Looking at the new averages i believe we now have 9.97 points to play with for a new number one... Doubling up riders are limited as a number of clubs are already at there maximum if 3.. Â A few who would fit are - Lewis Bridger, Patrick Hougghard, Lukas Dryml, Cameron Woodward ( Infact All Eastbourne team except Bjarne) Â I feel we need a number one who will gel and bond and hopefully add some experience to help the younger inexperienced riders with set ups etc..
