New Rider For Sheffield

Recommended Posts

You could always have David Howe and we'll have Adam Roynon at Scunthorpe, please someone have David Howe!

Are you completely mad?

OK, to suggest having Royno at Scunthorpe, but to want to ditch one of the best PL riders, I think you must be off you trolley!

Quote from the Sheffield Star Website:

The only piece of good news is that Sheffield have now completed enough meetings to be able to make a team change, and a new rider will be revealed on Monday after the Tigers management team said yesterday they had agreed terms with a well-known name.

Or is that they had to wait for the new averages to come out before they could re-declare the team and they need to wait for BSPA approval? Glasgow signed Andre 3 or 4 days before they officially announced him as being in the side after approval was given. (I don't know if that is the case here, but it would make sense)

Because they need to have te team ratified! If they announced it and thenit wasn't ratified, guys like Dickieboy would be licking their lips as they slagged off the promotion!

JAKE KNIGHT UPDATE.

Jake had agreed to ride for buxton before he had been released from Sheffields team, this was to be part of his development along with his Premier League racing. The track at buxton would have given him the small track racing that he needed and extra track time.

After Sheffields decision to release Jake he has now decided to give speedway a break and consider his future in the sport.

Regards

Richard

Sad to hear a young GB rider has decided to give speedway a break, short term or long.

Sorry that Jake is giving speedway a miss surly it would be better for him to keep riding because once you stop people soon forget you when looking for riders. He would be a big scorer in the National league and then attract other Premier teams when they look for riders ,it would boost his confidence to start getting race wins under his belt.Come on Jake take your place in the Buxton team and restore your confidence .

My thoughts excatly,I can well understand Jake`s disapointment at losing his place at Sheffield, but surely racing at NL level will see Knight winning races, which will restore his confidence and should make him a better rider the next time a PL track comes calling whether it be a fulltime signing or as a NL guest.

One step back to take two steps forward.
