Starman2006
So after the Rebels lose at Workington by 6 points in the first leg of the P L K O Cup QF 1st leg, which should have been closer had Doyley not shed a chain in Heat 15. Im sure that the Rebels will be confident of taking the overall aggragate win in this 2nd leg,But, after the Edinbourgh home defeat on sky, im sure lessons will be learn't, and no such complacency will set in and would like to think the Rebels will finish this tie off. Django
What an absolute shambles!!! I hope Somerset have to forfeit this now! Surely the track could have been identified as unusable earlier!!! Furious

Django
Exactly Topaz, Belle Vue had points deducted, if it had been a cup competition they would be out... Bet it doesn't happen though
stemoc
Must have been the same tractor that got stuck on the starting gates at the pairs
Willowman
Well talk about riders digging a hole to bury British Speedway in. After the track had been bladed there is no way that the meeting should not have gone ahead. I agree that the track had been watered too much and there was some standing water in patches but once bladed it was very raceable. It didn't help Stefan having an off after Ashley Morris powered underneath him and was excluded as a consequence but that was nothing to do with the track. Unfortunately it was just a call that went wrong. If the sun had stayed out and the wind picked up we would have been watering the track later in the meeting. stemoc
As you say Willowman speedway can do without this sort of thing, really like Somerset as a track but at the pairs the track was poor and now this, makes the sport a laughing stock ( pleased Sky weren't there) Edited June 18, 2013 by stemoc
