Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?

Recommended Posts

Got to agree with gavan as much as it pains me to say it

Everyone has an opinion Pinny that's what it is all about,we will see in the next 3 to 5 years. It will be interesting praying that Lambert is the real deal, myself Michael Lee at aged 16 beat the likes of Wilson and Briggs is by far the best 16 year old i have seen and that includes Ward.

How can Middlo justify Kennets inclusion on current form? Couldnt even dominate at PL level and now struggles to score worthwhile points in the EL. But then Middlo comes out on twitter and says next year he'll put the team selection to a vote to keep everyone happy. Im sorry but as manager he should of picked the team on current form and not his love of Eddie Kennet. Pathetic decisions and Kennet should be replaced now!

Middlo also said on Twitter that "hos hands are tied for King's Lynn Monday".

Didnt someone post that for the 1st 2 rounds teams had to be announced 2 weeks before and couldnt be changed unless due to injury.Does this mean the Laguta brothers will get bans for refusing to ride. Also today i only fliced through the star and the Poles haven't decided on the 4th rider though that could be for the next round due to my poor speedreading.

Why no reserves if you get a rider injured and unable to continue unless you are very lucky you aint going to win.

Worst case scenario heat 1 in the final a couple of reruns due to crashes all 4 riders are injured and unable to continue it could end up a very long night as i'm sure FIM rules state a race cannot be awarded.

Because if a rider is riding like crap, A country will get that rider to fake an injury to the reserve rider comes in.

There is a serious chance of a Bronze medal up for grabs here.

- Get to the race-off by hook or by crook.

- Drop Kennett and maybe even Cook, bring in Barker/Bridger/King

- Beat the Aussies

- Comfortably beat The Czechs

I only say maybe drop Cook if he struggles a bit at Lynn can't see him pulling up any Tree's at a track like Prague, you need big Engines for a place like that. Hopefully GB do make the final as I'm out there for the final and don't really want to be a Pole/Dane for the night!

I did :approve: change allowed only for injury and sickness. reduced to 4 riders from 5 (and 20 heats from 25 ) was done i believe because the poor prize money split between 4 is better than between 5.

At Blunsdon tonight Kennett partnered Kildemand to two 5-1's early on, beating Skornicki and Wells and then a poor Scott Nicholls (Wells excluded)..

He then came last, beaten by both Woffinden (no surprise) and Ludvig Lindgren

In heat 14, he fell for no apparent reason having been passed by at least one of the Wolves riders, presumably Thorsell as he won the heat with Skornicki finally finishing third.

Don't want to be too unkind to Ed, but perhaps he should withdraw due to his continuing poor form..

I think a trip to a kindly GP for a medical certificate is recommended.

There is a distinct possibility that this fall may have aggravated the ankle he injured in 2010.

One can never be too careful in cases like this and we would all wish him well if he took a week or so out to get fully recovered.

He has bought a new engine and tweeted the other day its far too quick for Belle Vue. His gating at Prague is vital its a bit gate and go but i do agree he needs a quicker engine and lets hope this new one does the job.
