SCB
Rule 078.3.4 page 9 Which reads to me that you change your team upto 30 minutes after practice.
racers and royals
Which reads to me that you change your team upto 30 minutes after practice. It certainly doesn`t to me i stand by my orginal post-I think it was bought in so the programme for the Saturday and Monday meetings aren`t changed too much-However how that squares with Russia maybe changing their whole team i don`t know. The three or four paragraphs of that regulation are poorly written, no doubt. And can be read as contradictory. However my decyphoring concurs with Racers and Royals. The Team for your first match (Round 1 or 2) has to be named 14 days in advance and can only be changed due to injury/illness. The team for the Race Off or Final does not have to be named until half-an-hour after the practice for that event. And that team cannot be changed after unless due to injury/illness. Starman2006
Bridger and Barker I no longer regard as prospects for our International Team - both try hard - but crucially - are NOT good enough. Really, i don't agree with that, yes i will admit Bridger has to find a bit, but he is capable of it, like Ben if he rides his bike and gets his head down. speedy17
Makes you wonder what sort of reception Kennett will get if he's struggling at Kings Lynn.
Trees
I would hope the fans won't give Kennett a hard time, he'll be doing his best, if he isn't up to it, it's Middlo's fault for picking him!!
Pinny
Surely with nicholls coming into form Middlo needs to be making a huge effort to replace kennett with him I actually think gb could get second comfortably at lynn should he ride With kennett theyll be scrapping for third with a massively weak swedish side
PHILIPRISING
SECOND or third makes no difference ... both go through
Pinny
And? You want to score as many points as possible, theres pride at stake. Ideally we want to win the first round but denmark imo are the best team in the world and we need a miracle if we are to beat them, even with nicholls But nicholls for kennett would definately see us in second imo and if cook makes a good impression we could give the danes a very hard test The pathetic attitude shown by people like you that second or third doesnt matter is shocking, we should be in it to win it and not settling for second or third , as unlikely as a win is we need to be doing everything possible and show fighting spirit this is why other countries are more successful Including kennett is a joke end of story he cannot ride big tracks as time and time again he has proved look at his form for berwick at home he should be cleaning up at that level, i know he rides for swindon but their fans are calling for his head and want him out Hes peaked and is at his level hes a 26 year old el second string and an absolute joke of an inclusion in the side. E I Addio
Is Bridger in great form he has done well but most of his big points have been at his home trick track. Have you ever seen his home tracks in Denmark and Poland ? If not why are you calling them trick tracks ? The fact is that Lewis has got out and got himself jobs in Denmark and Poland so at least it shows he has the ambition. You don't keep a job in Poland in particular, at any level unless you are a good performer home and away. Bridger and Barker I no longer regard as prospects for our International Team - both try hard - but crucially - are NOT good enough. Lewis has been around a long time but people forget he is still only 23. Unlike Worrall and Cooke he his holding down team places on the continent rather than doubling up in the PL. He is I believe younger than Craig Cooke and probably the best under 25 British rider after Tai Woffinden. If the policy is going to be to build for the future and give young riders experience then he has a good claim to a place. Very few speedway riders have peaked by the age of 23 and there is no reason to believe Lewis will not get better.

Personally I think that both Barker and Bridger flatter to deceive. I truly hope I am wrong - but I don't think I am.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Bridger to date hasnt appeared to have the application to match his talent. This year it does seem he has found more focus and improved vastly on the types of tracks outside his comfort zone. I think he can feel a bit hard done by to have been overlooked. PHILIPRISING
I DIDN'T say GB shouldn't be trying to win at KL ... but the fact is that coming second or third is immaterial.
Mixy230
Coming 2nd especially a close 2nd may help with confidence. Coming 3rd may make them be on a downer. Then again Coming 3rd may make them have a long hard look at themselves and push them on! It may make a difference but what difference who knows!!!!!!!!!!! lol

The best under 25 after Tai no chance,he is behind King,Auty, and Barker we will see in the next few years but to me he has to improve a hell of a lot more. Kings about 28 now and Bridger is so far ahead of Auty it's unreal. As good as Barker he's does well through grit and determination, he's not a natural. Lewis eclipses Ben in the talent stakes but Lewis doesn't have half the commitment of Ben. If Lewis wants it he can still be a GP rider, Barker and Auty won't ever be GP riders IMO.
